I am very passionate about living life as if it were an adventure. I really don't let life's bumps in the road get to me. Each one is meant to teach me something new and help me to live up to the next challenge to come. My dogs are my best friends. Their unconditional love inspires me to look for that in my personal life. Sports are an important part of my life. They keep me young. I have been playing tennis most of my life and was captain of my high school tennis team. I also like to run which I try to do daily. While I live in the deep South now, I am a transplant from the north. I do miss the snow though, so I travel out west or north during the winter months whenever I can. I love to travel to other parts of the world and experience other cultures.- so inspirational! A few years ago, I used to go on dates where I would run a 5K race with the guy I was dating. Not really to win, but to see if he could keep up (or if I could keep up!). I am not as fast as I used to be so I am sure this is would be no challenge now. I always liked the exhilaration when I finished a race, and it was nice to have someone there who appreciated the same thing. The best part was kicking back with a beer at some local pub afterwards. I am not suggesting this as a first date, but I may suggest it on the third date! A first date is an introduction - a trade of information really. I think a public place like a restaurant or wine bar might be a nice place to meet on a first date.

Not a requirement. I enjoy the small things and try not to sweat the major stuff. I do have 2 grown kids, son is 22, out on his own and proud to say just bought his own home. My daughter is 18, lives at home and just finished H.S. Both are wonderful great individuals that I can say I raised to be hard working and respectful adults. Please understand I want a man in my life to share in the good and not so good times. If you smoke or even chew tobacco I am not your girl. Also dont date men outside my race. I know what I want in my life. I would love to meet a man who still likes to do romantic things and treat a lady as a lady. You would be surprised how the smallest things will make a BIG difference. Started writing this but it ended up way too long. So I'm going to shorten it a little.I'm just me. Take me as I am. My Kids(3), Grandkids(2), & my Friends are the most important.; proper. Oh I may get upset on a bad hair day or if I break a nail. But I get over it. I also change my clothes several times before I'm satisfied with the way I look. I'm a Beer & Whiskey over a Wine & Champagne kind of woman. My friends say I "Clean up good". haha. My favorites: Food- Mexican, Colors-Red & Purple, Season- Fall:Sweatshirts,bonfires,roasting marshmellows. Sports- Football, Hockey, & Baseball. Love the beach but prefer the mountains. But there's no place like home. I Love Chocolate, who doesn't! Sweet tea.Cooking. Good book, if there's time. Most Movies. What's better than sharing a bowl of popcorn & snuggling with someone you care about watching a good one. Most Animals, but love cats.I LOVE MUSIC. ALL of it,except rap. And have been known to listen to it every now & again.I Love singing karaoke with my friends. I've got them believing I'm good! haha. Love to Dance.Love going out to clubs for karaoke or dancing.But would be nice to have a partner every now & then.Well H#LL, this is still long. But if you're still with me, that's me in a nutshell.
