I am an optimistic, caring, honest and loyal person with a good sense of humor. I am very active and enjoy spending time with my friends – whether it’s at a kickboxing class, doing volunteer work or for a fun night out. I also enjoy time at home cooking, enjoying a good bottle of wine or watching a movie. I love kickboxing, tennis, swimming, skiing and rollerblading. I also enjoy sailing, scuba diving and biking – although I haven’t had as much time for those as I’d like in the last few years. I am well-travelled and am adventurous when it comes to seeing new places and love all sorts of cuisines. In addition to my two children, my friends and my family are very important to me – especially my mom who has always been an incredible source of love and support – and a great babysitter!I am very much into music. My old favorites include The Cure, U2, The Smiths, The Alarm, The Cars and The Who.Enough about me… I would like to meet someone who is kind, honest and has a great sense of humor (or can at least appreciate my sometimes inappropriate one). As a mother of two, it is also important for me to meet someone who is family-oriented and likes children (at least my children). I think I actually prefer to meet someone who already has children as I do not want to have any more of my own. You should be active and physically fit and have some similar interests – Although I appreciate having separate interests too, it would be fun to play tennis or go skiing together.

My favorite book quote is by John Waters ~ “If you go home with somebody, and they don't have books, don't **** 'em!” I enjoy books that often portray the grittier aspects of life. Historical fiction is also a favorite. It's probably worth noting I am not a television watcher, but will selectively watch documentaries and movies/shows found on Netflix. I relish live music.
