About Me

I am looking for a long-lasting relationship. Not dating around, not multiple guys on the hook, not a hook-up. I want a connection, chemistry and compatibility in one relationship. I really want to find someone who is somewhere close to the stage of life I’m in (which, after plenty of dates with plenty of good guys of various ages I’ve come to see is related to age…lol…duh!) Hence the profile rewrite.I have to admit I’m a little hung up on age, but only because I work hard to stay fit and current and I’ve found that a lot of people (men and women) close to my age have sort of given up. I’m aging and it shows, but that’s not a free pass to quit caring about my health and appearance. I feel good about who I am right now. I’d like a similar attitude in my partner. You don’t have to be a triathlete, just practice healthy living habits.Both my kids are still living with me. My daughter is 20 and my son is 15. So, I’m still very committed to being a good mom, (and I find it really attractive if you’re into being a dad) but as they’ve gotten older I find myself with more time available to develop a social life…yay! :) I just rewarded myself with a birthday vacation in Vegas and loved it! (Posted some pics to my profile.) I want to do more traveling, but have always felt like the kids or the home should come first. I see that changing a lot in the next few years. I say this so you know I have time for you and that I want to make room in my life for the right man. I realize I can’t get a complete picture of who you are from a few paragraphs and some pictures, but I’m probably not going to respond to a guy who only posts one pic and doesn’t take the time to write more than, “Hit me up if you wanna know the rest.” C’mon…you have to at least try!There’s a lot more to me than what I’ve written here so please don’t think you know me just yet. I think the first date is actually the second date. I mean, really, the first time you get together it's usually for coffee or a drink. Does that count? Well, maybe if it lasts longer than an hour or you kiss each other goodbye. I think a date is when you actually make a plan to do something together...like take a drive with no destination on a misty autumn morning when the sun is still trying to break through with a hot mocha in my hand, music in my ears, my hand on my guys thigh.     Where do I start, independent, secure with myself and priorities straight. Or the same stuff adventurous, fun and giving ect. I have a lot to offer to the right person.     I hate talking about myself. I like to learn about someone by meeting them and talking. The whole point of "dating" is getting know someone. But I know people want to know what you like and don't like, so they can make their judgement calls. So here is my list of things I like. 1. Music-.. shall i go on? 2. pictures... I take a lot of pictures... of everything. 3. Twizzlers4. Movies- Horror, Comedy, Drama, Suspense, Action, Musicals, Horror (yes, i said that twice).5. Paranomormal- I'm in a group. MRIPA you can look it up at MRIPA.net6. Caves- they are fun to walk thru. 7. Hockey- I like to watch it (but rarely get too)8. Night time walks9. Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian food, burgers, steaks... 10. Animals- love animals... I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a ferret. 11 Tattoos- i like them, i have 4. Things I don't like. 1. Thunderstorms- they freak me out.2. CLOWNS- lets blame Speilberg for that one. 3. Being hot. I hate the hot and humid weather. It sucks. 4. People who think they are better than everyone else. 5. Judemental people.. that can probably go along with number 4. 6. Kids, and some adults who don't have their pants pulled up. (does this count as me me judgemental??? probably.. but doesn't mean i don't like that person) 7. Talking "Gangsta" hate it. it's stupid. 8. Drunks- I don't mind someone who has a drink or two, but not all the time, someone who drinks and gets drunk everytime they go out, probably should not contact me. 9. Hairy backs- kinda grosses me out. I know people can't help it, but there are tools made to rememedy the problem. 10. Sports- not a big sports fan, but doesn't mean i won't date someone who likes it. 11.- Yeah, i know, i think it's wrong though. but again, i don't descriminate against it. 12. Country Music- I like very little.13. Smoking- the only place i don't mind smoking, is if i'm in a bar. 14. Men who post pictures of themself from the bathroom, showing their abs, or lack of... I don't care to see it. Save that for private use. I can be sarcastic at times, but i know when not to be. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, but i also tend to be very quiet at first, till you get to know me. Just depends on how comfortable i am with the person. I have two children. 15 and 11. I have no intentions of having more. I do have an age limit so if you are between ***then cool.. If not.. it just depends on the person then. Jetting off to some exotic land... or, just meet for a drink/coffee/coke.. whatever and chat.
