Im an optimistic so thats why I thought I'd try this online dating thing again. Seems my waiting for a man to drop on my lap plan isnt working. Even considered making single cards *** business card and handing them out to hot, non ring wearing guys. Then thought it might come off crazy. Ok now Me, me, me.... You'd think since i know myself best this would be easy to do huh? I guess that's why it is...lol OK, I'm a very out going, tattooed, non-filtered, slow to anger, drama free, funny, Christian, single mom. The mom part of my life I've managed to keep separate from my dating world and plan on keeping it that way tell someone serious comes into my life. I do though have a 9 year old girl and a 20 year old son. One needs a daddy but has one the other can be a daddy. So all is good on that end..lol Now whats got me to joint Pof?. New to this dating world since I was 23, I've found it hard to meet guys. Where do you go the bar? Yeah not for me, makes me feel like a whore looking for that John without the cash and sex exchanged...lol .jk So here I am trying the online dating thing. I do like going to the bar but with friends to have a good time and dance though. What am I looking for in a man? huh, many, many, many, many, things. Wait did i mention many? Lol jk If I rambled on about what I want in a man I'm sure you being a man (at least I hope you are) you'll hear blah! blah! blah! but I will say this I believe if there is honesty, trust, humor and Christ in a relationship there could be a happily ever after with it. Now I'm not a Barbie doll by any means. No high maintenance here but I still like girly things. I just have never found a need to spend an hour gettin ready when I could sleep another 58 minutes..lmao...jk I do like my jeans but I love to dress up if I've got a purpose. I also find no need to put a lot of make up on my face. In most of my pics on here im make up free. Natural beauty is what I like to all it....lol, Im just a unique woman what can i say. I even brush my teeth in the shower. I've discovered through life that is pretty unique...Try it, you'll never have a tooth paste mess again and you can even spit on yourself. When is the last time you can say you did that? I find flossing is easier out of the shower though. First date is going to take more then adding me to your favorites without talking to me. Shocker I know...lol

    I've been divorced for nearly 2 years. Wounds have been licked and I'm ready to get into the dating scene again-I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I have a permanent smile and a slightly twisted sense of humor. I consider myself to be above average in intelligence (doesn't everyone?), and enjoy conversations with funny, intelligent people. I know, I TOLD you it's difficult to be truly unique! Although my family is very conservative and somewhat religious, I am not. Through painful trial and error I have learned that I need a partner who not only "tolerates," but shares my liberal views.Music tastes: I gravitate towards Indie and alternative rock. Although I can usually find songs within every genre to enjoy, I really don't care for gangster rap and country music. The first is too hateful and the second is too whiney and depressing for my tastes. Guilty TV pleasure: toss up between Americas Next Top Model and So You Think You Can Dance (you would think I'm 15yrs old). Uh, I'm not...pedophiles need not apply. An ideal first date would be somewhere intimate with a good****ail where we could discuss our interests and hopefully find common ground. Best case scenario would be lots of laughing, though not to the milk coming out your nose extent, because that is almost never sexy. I think the mark of a good first date is losing track of the time. If you find yourself checking your watch every few minutes it's probably time to cut your losses and agree to "just be friends"...both knowing we will never be friends. :)Another fun first date would be deep sea fishing... because if you are still attracted to someone who smells like bait you are on the right track. Or maybe a wine tasting tour. I am completely *** wines and would appreciate some guidance on the subject. Plus the smell of the aging barrels is much better than fish bait.
