About Me

I consider myself successful because I have a great daughter whom I have raised to be a responsible adult that loves me and is my best friend. I have worked very hard to get to where I am at in my profession. I try to be positive and embrace change so others around me can too. When I'm not at work you will find me outside working in the yard if its not raining. Or I might be cooking or having a BBQ for friends. I thoroughly enjoy cooking for others. I have two big dogs that are what I consider my furry children so you must love pets.I make my own money, own my own home so you might say I don't need a man but I'm missing a partner in crime. Lets meet soon I don't want to send ****** txt for days only to meet and find we don't have a connection. I'm all for making new friends if there is no connection

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 43-53

I want to start off with this statement. I DO NOT indulge in sexual relations before marriage, so if that is what you are looking for, you can just move on. If so, let me down easily, because I am still searching for that man that is out there!Thirdly, I do have kids under 18, but they live with their dad (there wasn't an option to say they don't live with me). They are 12 and 15. 7th and 10th graders. Not in grade school anymore, yay!Outdoors are fun to explore, even in the winter. I love to camp, fish (even if I don't catch anything), try new restaurants that I hear have good food, or just find out on my own.Do you like to cook? I like to learn new recipes, or make up things myself. How about you? I have a Vitamix, and it is fun to see what kind of concoction one might find tasty, and occasionally find out the not so tasty ones, ha! Where are you? Isn't there some well-educated guy, who doesn't feel intimidated, but wants a sweet lady in their life? I have a sense of humor, am a good listener, and do not like to gossip like most women, nor do I have some time-consuming hobbies like crafting, or some side business, though I am thinking of starting up some oil painting. I used to watercolor, and sketch with charcoal, and now I am ready to move onto the harder stuff. Any pointers?I like to bake, but don't want to be the only one to eat it. (hint hint)Own my own place, have a reliable job, own my own car, kids live with their dad, so I am open to looking for the perfect mate.I am unique because I am hard of hearing, but with my hearing aids, I am able to hear quite well, and speak as though you would never know. I grew up with deaf parents. ( I enjoy together time more, though. ) Music is important to me, and I enjoy listening to uplifting songs that edify the Lord. The old hymns are nice occasionally, but I prefer to hear songs that are more contemporary, such as Our God is an Awesome God, versus Trust and Obey. I know that God wants us to trust and obey, and I love to sing songs that make me feel excited about praising and serving Him.I like being with people who can know when to laugh if there is a problem, and not be too serious; to step back and look at the big picture. Do we REALLY want to fight over spilled milk? I don't like to complain, but focus on building up one another.I want to relax and listen to someone, and be able to interject without them thinking I am interrupting.Intelligence is important to me, but intellectualism isn't what I am looking for.How about you ? Tell me a little about yourself that relates to me, if you may? Have fun getting to know each other in a quiet venue, such as a small cafe. I am open to anything.A ball game would be fun, too! =)Or perhaps a movie, and then dinner? If you attend a church nearby, I'd love to go with you as well.=)Just a side note, for those who think being "religious" is negative... I agree with this statement I found online:Religion is something that has been passed on from generation to generation. It requires a system to be followed or else there will be consequences. These religions distract us from the real truth. The truth that you don’t need rituals to be spiritual, all you need is God.Many people go to church and profess to be spiritual; however, many do not possess the kingdom. They do not operate in kingdom principles. The scripture clearly says to seek first the kingdom of God, and then the “things” will be added unto you. How many Bible-believing, church-going, Holy Ghost-filled people do you know living in lack, poor health, poverty and sadness? However, this is contrary to the system that God established in the beginning. It is vital to develop a kingdom mindset if you want to reign as Christ in the earth. You have to begin to walk in victory and talk in victory. You have to live the kingdom and understand that the kingdom of God is within you. -by Bishop E.

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

Lets see this is hard as all of you must have found out. Anyway, I love the outdoors, riding horses, skiing (snow and water), boating, camping, going out dancing with friends, and being with my girls. I am game to try just about anything. I guess if you want to know more you would have to ask. It would have to depend on the time of year. Going out to dinner and dancing is always fun but riding horses on the beach in the fall is beautiful. So just depends.

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: man. In age: 43-53

I live a full life and I am grateful for it. While I am competent and independent, I also know that I would enjoy sharing my life with someone. It would be nice to participate in each other's interests, find common ones, or at least cheer each other on from the sidelines. Here are some things that interest me. For one, I changed careers about 5 years ago and became a math teacher. I'm now working towards my master's in math so that I can teach at the community college level. I love my job and my students tell me that they appreciate my style of teaching. It's very rewarding to see someone "get it" after struggling in the past. Although I consider myself to be pretty hip, that's my geeky side!Second, I attend my fair share of concerts and like discovering new music. Here's a taste of what I've seen lately: Civil Wars at the Berklee Performance Center, The Black Keys at the Garden, Meiko at TT the Bear's and Gotye at House of Blues. It's fun sharing a passion for music and listening to great stuff.Third, I like to stay in shape. For a while, I was a runner exclusively. Now, I have more variety in my fitness routine. If I can get in two runs and three classes (spin, yoga, weights) a week, I'm happy. Sometimes life gets in the way, and that's okay, too. After belonging to the Y for years, I'm finally making good use of my membership! My friends would call me considerate, compassionate, and caring. I come across as gracious and calm, but I do have a spunky side. I'm also quite stylish, think a cross between boutique and consignment. In fact, that is a good description of me in general.I have two kids who make me very proud to be their mom. They are at great ages ***and ***independent, but still like to hang out with me. Being involved in their interests is a priority for me... I love being both a soccer mom and a dance mom. I have a pretty consistent parenting schedule, so that when my kids are with me, I can concentrate on them; but when they are at their dad's, I have time for me (and my partner).I'm looking for someone who is kind & attentive, attractive & athletic, intelligent & down-to-earth, and who (like me) has a certain joie de vivre.
