Hello,I have 2 kids... one is 17 and pretty much does her own thing, and I have a 12 yo son who still enjoys hanging out with mom every once in a while. I like going local and state parks, hiking the trails, fishing, and doing volunteer work.I've been a runner for over 30 years, I weight train, and I like to geocache, ...which is part exploring in nature and part techy ....I also play a couple of *** try to eat healthy and as organic as possible. Being healthy is important to me. Trying to withstand the effects of aging for as long as possible. It seems that every time I run into someone from high school, they always recognize me...and I never recognize them. So maybe it's because I haven't grown older looking since then, or it's because I never grew up, lol.I tend to be pretty opinionated on certain issues that are important to me, but am more than willing to listen to other viewpoints. I consider myself a person who sticks up for others almost to a fault. I guess the hardest part of dating for me is that I'm an extremely nice and honest person. I keep expecting and I know there's got to be a man out there that is just as honest and nice as I am...that is kind to others, optimistic and fun. I don't treat people who are currently in my life based on how I've been treated in the past. It seems that there are too many people out there that are extremely guarded by what they have experienced. For me, every day is a fresh start. I am very "low maintenance" and down to earth type of woman. I'm not into shopping in stores or buying tons of clothes...there are better ways I like to spend money. I'm financially prudent and stable...not looking for some guy to support me. But, I also don't need a financial leech as well...that's what my kids are for, lol. I have a great sense of humor and use it to help in difficult times by making light of just about any situation. I would like to meet guys who are active, have a great sense of humor, are honest, enjoy life, and are optimistic. Finally, I am looking for someone to have a relationship with. I am not looking for a FWB or a one night stand...so, if that is your intention, please move on. Don't waste my time or yours. Thank you....so, I'm keeping my profile up for now, but might be looking elsewhere for my new best friend. Due to the uncertainty of the future, I'm still looking to meet new people, but not looking to get into a LTR until I've "settled down".     How do you sum yourself up, ugh! Does anyone like doing this?.. Ok then.....I used to travel more than I do now, but I have been to a good part of Europe, including living in a Soviet country with family in the summertime as a little girl.I don't have a type, whether you are a tall skinny hippie boy, or a sexy clean cut stockbroker or anything in between, its the chemistry that matters. Make me laugh, make me think, that's sexy. But be cute, and at least as tall as me, points if you are blonde..I find it hard to sit and watch tv, so I end up listening to it, I have to be doing something else, usually drawing.I hate shopping, I'm pretty strictly a jeans and tshirt, pair of Vans kind of chick. But, I girly up well.I am layed back, and I love to laugh and joke around. Well, **** is the duct tape of the English language.. And that whole thing just had way to many "I's" for my ****ing comfort..... ;)And if you can get into this: *** I've traveled a lot in my life. Europe and North America. I've eaten in fancy restaurants, shopped in the most expensive stores. I grew up in fancy neighborhoods with major league pitchers as neighbors.. Its nice but......I do not need nor do I want to be impressed. I really like casual sooo much better! First date is good to go out somewhere meet and eat, check physical attraction. The usual.. Standard issue stuff.....Perfect second date: Movies at home, Netflix or some video games ( yes, the real killing kind, no candy crushing), some drinks and celebrating ***and hanging out and talking...
