About Me

I like to get out and have a great time be it surfing, skiing, camping, live music, craft breweries, good restaurants, or completely new adventures. I am looking for a man who has a super positive outlook on life, a sense of humor and enjoys good times - but is a little bit deep also. I surf and practice yoga to stay balanced and grounded, helps me to go with the flow. Something about the ocean makes me so happy. My career is exciting and technically challenging and keeps me on my toes. A great first date would getting to know each other over coffee or a drink and then a walk on the beach, perhaps at sunset.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56

I had this at the bottom of my profile but I don't think of a lot of guys actually read all the way to the end, so here it is, at the top...I hate to be superficial, but as a tall woman if you're not at least 5'11" we probably won't be anything more than friends, and I generally don't converse with anybody that doesn't have a photo...sorry!About me: I like to travel, garden, watch live bands, eat out (especially on a patio somewhere), sing, read, shop, take road trips to nowhere in particular to explore little towns and stop in all the local dive bars, or hit up a local festival. My friends would say I'm optimistic, generous, dependable and outgoing. My mantra: Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it. (Chinese Proverb) I've always said my next move will involve palm trees...I love the tropics! But I'd settle for a lake cabin...working on it. Road trips with the top down.My cats. They're my my babies.Massage. aaahhhh.Spending time outdoors, especially on/near water.Travel. I have the bug.KTIS If you have a bike, I have the coat, chaps and dew rag...can't drive, but love to ride on the back. I'd like someone who can let go of work and enjoy spending time relaxing on a patio, out to dinner, or on the beach...maybe take in a show or find a bar with a live band, or do a little shopping. I'd love to find a gentleman that knows how to treat a lady, goes to church, likes to dance, loves life and knows how to have fun, but at the same time enjoys eating healthy food, taking care of himself and appreciates how much God has given him! ;) A good first date is an early dinner at a fun restaurant...giving us time to get to know each other in a casual setting. Maybe a sporting event of some kind...Twins, Wild etc.

Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 40-50

Love horses and the outdoors. Soccer games with my daughter. I rescue all kinds of animals in need. Looking for some fun times with new friends. If you're an alcoholic, please don't respond... No offense, I've just been there, dealt with that. Social drinking is o.k. with me. It's just I'm sick of constantly drunk men. I'd just like to meet new people and have some fun! **UPDATE: I feel the need to edit this part of my profile... I'm not interested in "married men" or an "Intimate Encounter". Pictures are a must have and nobody under 35 please!!! (I already have a young one!) LOL!!!! Happy Fishing!!!!! :) Laughter and a great personality should be key! Honesty and being trustworthy is a great start to any kind of friendship!

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56

I'm looking for my best friend who wants to have a normal, happy life and home. Someone to grow old with. You could say I want what my parents had. My kids are grown except for my 18 year old still in school. I'm a kid at heart, I love life and feel I have been blessed with wonderful family and friends. I'm a pretty content person and I don't need someone to "make me happy", if that makes sense, yet I want to have someone with whom to share all life has to offer. I was married at the age of 20 and spent over 20 years hoping things would get better. Being married to an alcoholic, I don't have tolerance for heavy drinkers and drunks, I don't like being around them. It's not that I have anything against someone having an occasional drink, I can count on 1 hand how many drinks I've had in the last ***years, I can live without it. My faith is pretty important to me, it has gotten me through the tough times and has helped mold the person I am. I like animals, I volunteered last year at the Human Society's "Walk for Animals" along with my daughters. I've thought about volunteering at the humane society. I have one dog, my daughter has a cat and bird.I like Saturday and Sunday mornings, not being in a hurry to go anywhere, having my first cup of coffee with the sun streaming through the window. When it's not winter out, I like sitting outside in the morning with my coffee and listening to all the outdoor sounds. My favorite seasons are probably spring and fall. Summer is good too. Listening to music while working, cleaning, dancing with my grand daughter in the living room, I like most kinds of music, especially songs with meaning to them. One Republic is probably one of my favorites lately. And I will sing out loud sometimes, much to my 18 year old's dismay, I am pretty sure I sometimes mouth the words to songs at work too, when I have my earphones on. As long as no one hears me. Gardening is a hobby that I have been missing some. I am stuck with container gardening for now, working towards buying my own house, I don't care too much for apartment living, I miss having a yard to work in. Gardening is a good release after a day at work, getting my hands in the dirt. It's peaceful and a wonderful stress reliever and a good place to have a silent talk with God while pulling weeds....
