Ok so I just got out of a bad marriage and then had my heart broken severely by the one serious relationship I've had since then; so therefore I'm not really 100% positive of what I want exactly. I do know that I am tired of being lonely and tired of being hurt. I have been shattered but I think I may be pieced back together if the right man comes along; I have great capacity to love but am a little scared of it; so patience is a MUST!!! I don't have the highest self esteem and tend to be very harsh on myself. I have a young daughter and she is my number one priority in life; if you have a problem with that or with children at all; then stop reading and keep on moving. Now a little about me; I love to read,hike,play golf and do just about anything outdoors ,fairs, festivals, picnics, going on drives in the mountains, enjoying a good cup of coffee at cozy coffee shops, eating out, going to movies, shopping or just spending lazy days at home. My main goal in life is making sure my daughter is happy healthy and well adjusted. After that would fall finding a great man to love, be good to and build a happy life and future with, having a peaceful and happy home life is a very high priority. I am a very laid back and unique woman. I was once very overweight and had gastric bypass almost 8 years ago; loosing over half of myself in weight so there are no issues with an ego here; actually if anything just the opposite; I tend to have problems with my self esteem at times; though I pride myself in teaching my daughter self love; no matter what and being accepting of others no matter what; even those with differences or disabilities. As far as my interest in music is concerned I have a wide variety of taste; from classical to hardcore black and death metal. I pretty much like all types; except I am no very big into hip hop, rap or pop. If there is anything else you want to know; just ask, I'm an open book. Lunch or dinner at a quiet Bistro or Cafe, or coffee at a nice cozy coffee shop or possibly a quiet stroll at the park. I like to do something that gives an opportunity to talk and get to know each other.

Hello! Thanks for checking me out! ;) First, I have to say that I've noticed a lot of guys write "no drama" on their page. I have a 16 year old boy and 12 year old girl, so yes, (fortunately) I have drama in my life. If you have a little girl and don't, please let me know your secret. ;0) We all know that everything is the end of the world for little girls. lol I enjoy spending time with my kids and I'm very thankful that they still want me around for the time being! As much as I love them, I also enjoy having my "me time" and I would love to find someone to share it with. I cannot have any more children, but I am completely fine dating someone that has children. I am a pretty simple person. I honestly do try to keep things simple. I love being outdoors in the summertime. I like camping and fishing, (yes, I can bait my own hook), cooking out, working in my flower beds, riding bikes, hanging out with friends & family, amusement parks, or basically anything else that keeps me active. I also like to just sit and observe nature and relax. In the winter I tend to hibernate most of the time. I like to work on projects around the house and cuddle up on the couch and watch movies. I work out 5 to 6 days a week and try to eat healthy most of the time, but I still love an ice cold beer or two while I'm cooking out. I also love cooking and trying new recipes. I'm very outgoing and try my best to be open-minded and accepting of others. I'm a very affectionate, caring person and must have someone that is the same. I enjoy meeting new people, going to new places, and learning new things. I'm that person that talks to everyone in the line at the grocery store, (or anywhere else for that matter). I'm currently going to school to get my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. Between school and kids it doesn't leave a lot of time to meet new people. Living in Mayberry doesn't exactly help either. lol However, I remain very optimistic that I will meet my "special someone" some day! Until then it's just all a part of the journey... I'm looking for someone that is affectionate, has a good sense of humor, enjoys new experiences, has a positive attitude, and takes their responsibilities seriously. I am looking for someone that is physically active, fairly fit, and able to keep up with me. Of course the standard good attributes like honesty, integrity, morals, etc... still apply.
