I am really into traveling. A few years ago, I obtained my Paramedic license so I could travel and work with different medical groups. I spent some time working in Honduras, Guatemala and Roatan working for Paramedics for Children. Helping others is really important to me as well as experiencing new cultures around the world. I am very active. I spend a lot of my time playing basketball, All Sport or doing boot camp. I love the outdoors - growing up on a farm the outdoors became a huge part of my lifestyle and heading out for a weekend of camping or fishing; nothing beats that. I have back packed through a lot of Central America and spent a month last year in Europe. I am currently working towards going back to school and obtaining my degree as an RN (Registered Nurse). I would love to work in Emergency Medicine or Labour and Delivery. I hope to meet someone that loves the outdoors and shares similar interests. I have been on this site before but never found what I was looking for. At this stage of my life, I am looking to find someone I hope to settle down with and share a future with. I would describe myself as picky; I want to share my time with someone who is honest and trustworthy and we share similar goals. Maybe go for a Hike, grab a coffee. Something easy and relaxing with little pressure. I have a career that I love and enjoy every day, and am always aspiring to learn more and be better at what I do. I am pretty passionate about my work, but not so passionate that I don't try to take off for a few months every year in pursuit of the most pristine beaches on the planet. I'm a watersport junkie-- scuba diving, surfing, SUPing, and hopefully soon kiteboarding! Wanna teach me?!Other than water sports, I enjoy a good long distance run, hike, or cycle, and am trying to get better at my newest hobby: mountain biking. And by better, I mean slightly less blood at the end of each ride. Yikes. I am a sucker for someone who can teach me something new (sports included), so if you're into something that's not on my list-- all the better! I'll put this out there right now though, I'm not too much of a skiier....been there, tried that several times. I am willing to try and get better, but just be warned that there may be copious cursing, yelling, and/or death threats. Just kidding about the last one! But seriously, I love the sun. Snow, not so much.Other than sports, I enjoy a nice night in with a book, movie, a few TED talks and a glass of wine...or beer. I think a day is wasted if I did not open a book and break a sweat. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and I am lucky enough to have an amazing assortment of both. I am an independent girl with a love for life.....but it's more fun when you can share it with someone!You: are happy....or travel the world.
