About Me

I am really into traveling. A few years ago, I obtained my Paramedic license so I could travel and work with different medical groups. I spent some time working in Honduras, Guatemala and Roatan working for Paramedics for Children. Helping others is really important to me as well as experiencing new cultures around the world. I am very active. I spend a lot of my time playing basketball, All Sport or doing boot camp. I love the outdoors - growing up on a farm the outdoors became a huge part of my lifestyle and heading out for a weekend of camping or fishing; nothing beats that. I have back packed through a lot of Central America and spent a month last year in Europe. I am currently working towards going back to school and obtaining my degree as an RN (Registered Nurse). I would love to work in Emergency Medicine or Labour and Delivery. I hope to meet someone that loves the outdoors and shares similar interests. I have been on this site before but never found what I was looking for. At this stage of my life, I am looking to find someone I hope to settle down with and share a future with. I would describe myself as picky; I want to share my time with someone who is honest and trustworthy and we share similar goals. Maybe go for a Hike, grab a coffee. Something easy and relaxing with little pressure. If things go well, plan to do something were both interested in. * I want to add that I am not into one night stands, I am looking for someone who is serious about meeting someone and finding a connection.     Back in the dating saddle again! Well I have to admit it has been awhile since I have done this, but I assume its like riding a bike. haha I am a born and raised Calgarian, which is rare I know! Although I have spent most of my life here I have also had the privilege of traveling the world... almost 3 years ago (seems so long ago!!!) and I loved it. I have a huge passion for Europe and have been to many countries throughout. Asia is next on the list and hopefully I'll make it there next year. I have been saving my pennies! I also love food and wine, I would like to say I am an amazing cook, but I am probably better at drinking wine. I would like to say that "l love the gym" but that just isn't true. I find it is a necessary evil so that I can eat ice cream and not feel guilty haha. I like to hike, bike, swim, ski, camp and always my favorite Sunday activity ... veg on the couch (variety is the spice of life ;.. not the jail side) and I tend to go a little overboard with the decorating at Halloween and Christmas... I love to explore my creative side and always have 50 projects on the go... but have a hard time finishing them with a busy schedule always keeping me on my toes. Most of my friends here are getting married and settling down. I on the other hand have not yet made the transition from hot tub parties and keggers to tupperware parties and board game nights. I guess at some point I will make the transition into that category, just not quite yet!!! haha ... I am looking for someone who I can talk about everything with, learn from, share new experiences with, and just have a good time. As I said before travel is a huge part of my life and It would be nice to have someone to go on adventures with. If you are up for the challenge, drop me a line.P.S.
