About Me

I am really into traveling. A few years ago, I obtained my Paramedic license so I could travel and work with different medical groups. I spent some time working in Honduras, Guatemala and Roatan working for Paramedics for Children. Helping others is really important to me as well as experiencing new cultures around the world. I am very active. I spend a lot of my time playing basketball, All Sport or doing boot camp. I love the outdoors - growing up on a farm the outdoors became a huge part of my lifestyle and heading out for a weekend of camping or fishing; nothing beats that. I have back packed through a lot of Central America and spent a month last year in Europe. I am currently working towards going back to school and obtaining my degree as an RN (Registered Nurse). I would love to work in Emergency Medicine or Labour and Delivery. I hope to meet someone that loves the outdoors and shares similar interests. I have been on this site before but never found what I was looking for. At this stage of my life, I am looking to find someone I hope to settle down with and share a future with. I would describe myself as picky; I want to share my time with someone who is honest and trustworthy and we share similar goals. Maybe go for a Hike, grab a coffee. Something easy and relaxing with little pressure. If things go well, plan to do something were both interested in. * I want to add that I am not into one night stands, I am looking for someone who is serious about meeting someone and finding a connection. If you are looking for a one night stand, we probably would not be compatible but happy fishing :)

Woman. 29 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 26-36

Hey there, thanks for taking the time to stop by.About me:I have a good career and like what I do. I take care of myself; enjoy eating healthy and being active. I enjoy a wide variety of activities and I hope that I can share some of those with you. I also enjoy kicking back with a good book or movie and a glass of wine. I have myself together, live on my own, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have a positive outlook on life, know what my plan is & where I'm headed in life. I look where I'm going, not where I've been. I'm logical and level-headed and don't tolerate games or drama from anyone in my life. I've been single, by choice, for a while now. I enjoy the freedom and don't want to lose that, but I realized recently that I miss the companionship that can only come from a romantic connection. I believe that life is short and quality time is what matters most, so I encourage meeting as soon as possible so as not to waste anyone's time.About you:You are in a career you enjoy. Live on your own and have yourself together. You enjoy eating healthy and being active. If you are creative and put effort into communication I'll be more likely to respond. :-)Happy Fishing!; enjoy each others company.

Woman. 30 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 27-37

I am quiet, and a bit of a home body but would love to find someone who would make my life more exciting. I work full time, and enjoy singing so am involved with a local choir. I have a toy poodle, who shares my space. I have not really dated so not sure how I would like to spend a first date, but thinking that getting to know someone first by *** we have any common interests then getting together for a coffee would be next and then who knows where that may lead. Looking for a friendship and think that there has to be someone out there who is perhaps a little shy and looking for the same thing.

I actually have no idea where the whole "A priest, a rabbi, and a duck..." jokes go. I hear them on TV and in movies all the times but no one ever finishes the joke! I suppose I could google it but that feels like cheating somehow.People always seem to only mention their good qualities in these descriptions, as if they don't have any bad? Well, I know my bad qualities and I'm ok with them, in fact, I occasionally celebrate them. So, to be a little bit different, here are a few of my other "bad" qualities: -Judgmental-Easily annoyed-Stubborn-Insecure and yet am totally convinced of my awesitude and amazeballsness-I'm antisocial like 70% of the time-Mildly opinionatedAnd some good:-I try to be pretty open and honest-Funny-Reasonably intelligent-Loyal-Mildly opinionatedI enjoy a variety of activities, but right now most of my time is spent working, writing, with my horse, reading, or doing something low key with my friends. I would LOVE to try sailing, fencing, ATVing, kayaking, hot air ballooning, spelunking... the list really does go on. I enjoy doing crosswords (preferably the ones in the 24 magazine since I can usually finish them!), love talking about movies and music and generally feel that a day without a heated debate (including copious amounts of arm flailing) is wasted. What I'm looking for: I'm not entirely sure. I have a pretty decent idea of what I'm *not* looking for and that includes dudes who feel the need to post shirtless photos of themselves. I don't care how proud you are of your nerps, the very act of posting those photos makes me question your judgment and, to be completely honest, I've already thought of several ways to mercilessly mock you. Also, spelling and grammar are important. I can handle the occasional typo but good gawd the little red squiggly lines under those words should tell you something! Have you ever had a conversation with a friend when all of a sudden they whip out the fact that they can't say ";? In fact, they keep trying to say it and all you can think is "Fawk that sounds like they're saying "massive two shits"." No? Just me? I find that when I go to message a guy, I usually only throw down a "hey, how's it going". Generic, I know, but I really don't want to waste time on someone who's not going to respond. Unfortunately that is a pretty boring opening line and not the most conducive to an ongoing, in depth online conversation. So, here's a jumping off point: Who would win in an epic battle between unicorns armed with bacon and bears armed with nets? Hold hands and skip (will seriously marry the dude who knows where that line comes from.)
