About Me

I have a great job, family and friends. Honestly, I really enjoy my life and am very happy. However, I am missing that personal connection with someone which makes life oh so much more enjoyable. Someone that makes my soul happy. That's what I am looking for and hoping for. I don't know what that means as far as a relationship. I am open to anything and would love to find "the one" but I am in no hurry. So, if you enjoy life, hate drama, love to laugh, love simple romance, like adventure and activity, but also enjoy the stillness of hanging out and watching the stars or a beautiful sunset, you should definitely contact me!I am adventurous and enjoy trying new things. I am a technology teacher and love kids, but I don't have any children of my own.....other than my 4-legged furry ones! I am totally fine with a match having kids, in fact I would love that. I marvel at science, technology, the skies and all things in nature. I mean I truly am in awe. Even though I am fuller figured, I am pretty athletic and love to play tennis and do most anything active. I also compete in agility and go sheep herding with my dogs. I enjoy watching or playing most sports (prefer to play). I am working very hard to get in shape and want to find someone who values being active as much as I do. I like to keep moving! On the flip side, I can sit still and enjoy just being in the company of a man without having to say or do anything. Those times are very romantic and special to me. I look forward to those times. I love movies of all kinds, reading, and most of all anything outside, especially beautiful sunsets! I don't really care if it is hot, cold or rainy, I love all of the seasons and love to be outdoors doing just about anything. I am happiest and most at peace when I am outside. I really want to find someone who gets this and wants to enjoy this with me. I would love to try camping, I have never had the opportunity, but I know I would love it.Guess I am just looking for someone to share the beauty and adventures of life with. Someone who loves to have fun and laugh. I could go on and on with movies. I don't watch much TV at all, but I tend to like old shows like Mash and Star Trek. I am also a sucker for Happy Days. Big Bang Theory is by far the best series of all time in my opinion. I mostly enjoy sci-fi or fantasy books. I also read a lot of things about technology and education. I like most types of music....Crazy Love melts me every time I listen to it. It just gets at my soul. I really enjoy karaoke even though I can't carry a tune! It is just fun. The best first date for me would start with dinner or just meeting for drinks or coffee. I am not really into fancy places, I tend to love more interesting, local places. After, I would love to walk and talk by the river. For me, the first date is about getting to know someone, so I would like to do things where we can talk. I also like to move, so that is why I chose walking. Of course, if you think you are up to it, we could always play a friendly game of tennis! I'll take it easy on you! :) Honestly, there are not many things I don't enjoy doing and I would just love spending the time getting to know someone and seeing if there is a spark.
