Well, I really don't like talking about myself but here goes...I'm a sucker for romance and wear my heart on my sleeve. I know what I want out of life and from my partner. I am happy living a simple life, but do like to shop, get my nails done, and hit Starbucks several times a week. I love to get dressed up but can just as easily be comfy in jeans and a t-shirt and flip flops. My biggest desire is quality time, which is my love language, according to the book, The Five Love Languages. I am interested in a serious relationship only. Yes, I am aware that a friendship must form first :). I'm not into serial dating, flings, or one night stands. I'm not into the bar scene (once in a while is okay) but do enjoy the occasional wine bar or live music venue.I love kids, just never was blessed with my own. I was an awesome step mom to my ex's daughter for 15 years but she chose to cut ties when her dad and I divorced. It broke my heart but that was 2 years ago. Life goes on and now I'm drama free and I hope you are too. I'm really quite shy at first. Once I open up, sometimes it's hard for me to stop talking!**** Final note: I am very affectionate and love to cuddle :). I want to date someone who actually has TIME to date. I am big on communication and like to communicate with someone I am interested in regularly. I'm going to try and not be so general on here and actually tell you specific things about myself so you get a good picture of what I'm all about and who I am.I consider myself young for my age...not because I think I look ***although that wouldn't hurt either ; ) but because I'm very adventurous and fun loving. I love to do spur of the moment things, I'm not afraid of change. I want to meet someone who is as open-minded as I am. My daily life consists of pretty typical stuff: work, cleaning, cooking and when I have time I'm at the gym. I love to read, go to the park for walks. For fun I go out a few times a month dinner/dancing or whatever else but I love to stay at home and relax every now and then too.Thanks to my daughter I'm playing tennis and learning to snowboard although I think Ill stick to water skiing for now since that doesn't end in as much pain : ) Staying active is important to me and I would like to start traveling more, maybe go wine tasting with someone who I could have a good conversation with those kinds of things. My music preferences are old school hip hop and R n B..but I listen to a lot of different types of music I just do not do country.I'm a pretty simple person the only thing I ask for is no games because I will always be straight forward too.
