I’d love to play modest and say I hate talking about myself, but after our first meeting you’d know it’s a lie. I’ No, I don’t hate the winters, I love the snow, even when shoveling my car out of 3 ft of it. Which brings me to the point of people who complain about the snow, the freeways, other people or life in general: I dont like constant complaining. One on one, I can get nervous and introverted, so be a patient and try not to make it worse. Having a sense of humor definitely helps a person be able to deal with awkwardness I inadvertently bring to the table. In life I like to practice yoga and I’m currently in a ***hr yoga teacher certification program. I have also recently taken up kickboxing and it turns out I have an awesome roundhouse, so take that Chuck! When I’m not finding inner peace or kicking-ass, you can find me hanging out with my little black lab/dachshund. She’s pretty cool for a creature that prefers toilet water to the water in her dish.As a fair warning- I’m pretty awesome, but I won’t stay that way if you turn out to be a douche/bro/assclown-the door’s that way. And no, I don't want to video chat and see any part of you. Gross.

I've found that one of the best way's to get a sense of someone's personality, is by learning more about their everyday life and the activities that make them happy. So rather than describing myself with a lot of adjectives, I'll let my photos and my interests do the story telling...I am very passionate about art, the outdoors, food, and music. I come from a family of artists, myself included, and I seem to have an ongoing stream of projects in the works. I would have to say most of my talent lies within handmade jewelry and photography, however I like trying new things and have decided to attempt painting at some point when I can make more time for it.I grew up camping with my family and it's something I still enjoy very much. I also love kayaking, paddleboarding, and pretty much anything that gets me out on the water. I actually just purchased a stand up paddleboard, and plan to use it as much as I can before the summer comes to an end. I recently signed up for a premium spotify membership, and it has stopped me from compulsively downloading new music on itunes for the time being. My piggy bank is enjoying the break. ;) Live music is always fun too, however I prefer smaller, intimate venues where you can actually sit down and enjoy the show.I exercise regularly, lift weights, do pilates, and swim laps a couple of evenings per week at the local pool in the summer time. I live a fairly active lifestyle, however like most people, I enjoy my down time and definitely take it when needed.Last but certainly not least, FOOD. I love to cook and love to eat even more! I was recently described as a fat person trapped inside of a skinny person's body. And yes, I'm one of those annoying people that takes pictures of their plate and texts photos to fellow foodies. I look at food as a form of art and really enjoy trying new restaurants. There are so many places in Philly that I have yet to try and I'm very much looking forward to meeting someone who wants to eat their way through the city right along with me.What am I looking for? Ultimately, someone with a similar healthy and balanced lifestyle who shares my love of the outdoors. But I also believe complementary interests can be just as exciting. Someone that will expose me to new things is very attractive and hopefully you would be open-minded enough to learn and experience new things with me as well. With all that said, what it really boils down to is chemistry, and I'm learning this is something very difficult to determine through a computer screen. I think we all have a list of criteria or attributes we look for in a partner, but in the end if you don't have physical, emotional, and intellectual chemistry in person, the rest of the checklist is meaningless. I'm happy, self-sufficient and in no rush...I'm open to meeting new people and if that spark is there, then I think there is just a natural progression that occurs... Nothing too crazy or long for a first date. It's too much pressure and I don't like to be stuck in a situation that maybe neither one of us are comfortable being in. A drink and maybe lunch or dinner is fine with me. Save planning something more fun for a second date when we know there is chemistry and we are both interested in spending more time together...
