I'm happy with who I am! I feel blessed with eternal youth, both inside and out. Of course I'm competitive, an attribute that has served me well. I've learned first hand what it takes to succeed and overcome the most difficult situations. When it comes to men, I don't have a "type". It will depend on your initial contact and photo. Creativity and sincerity sparks my interest, with a bit of humor that shows a side of your personality! Easy enough :) I have three adult children, they mean the world to me, but as each has ventured off to explore life for themselves, it's time for me to start my own adventure. I choose to live each day, laughing, living, and making memories. Now... I'm looking for that "unique" man that can share in all those memories yet to be made. I enjoy cuddling (fireplace optional), dancing, movies, sports, entertaining at home, going out on the town, movies, good jazz, walks along the beach (cliche, but true!), anything in, on or near the water (I'm new to snorkeling, and love to fish!), church on Sunday mornings followed by reading the Sunday paper cuddling on the sofa - then watching football or doing something outside, gardening, and antiques (buying and refinishing). I love all the treasures in life that can't be purchased - they are so much more valuable! I appreciate all the life lessons I have had thus far - they've strengthened me, taught me about myself, given me joy, allowed my resiliency to shine through, taught me to appreciate people I've been blessed to have around me, and taught me the value of forgiveness, all of which have played a part in who I am today. I have a good sense of who I am and what is important to me in a relationship, and I'm looking for the same in a man. I'm not looking for a hook up, or a superficial thing here, I am seriously seeking someone who will compliment my life in many ways, and whose life I will compliment in return. You? Intelligent, attractive (more than just looks, guys!), a great sense of humor, confident, responsible, accountable, somewhat independent, relatively drama free, reasonably fit, and unreservedly affectionate; a gentleman with some bad boy thrown in; passionate about the things and people in your life you care about, you know his flaws and work to change the things you can, are honest and forthcoming, and you have the time and inclination for a monogamous relationship.
