I'm happy with who I am! I feel blessed with eternal youth, both inside and out. As I've done my best to describe myself...I've actually used adjectives that have been used to describe me by others. My favorite "UNIQUE" Oh...I've also been called a "bi#ch" LOL, but not often!I was raised in NY...that may say a lot about me LOL.I'm an ex national athlete, hard work and dedication is in my blood. Of course I'm competitive, an attribute that has served me well. I've learned first hand what it takes to succeed and overcome the most difficult situations. When it comes to men, I don't have a "type". It will depend on your initial contact and photo. Creativity and sincerity sparks my interest, with a bit of humor that shows a side of your personality! Easy enough :) I have three adult children, they mean the world to me, but as each has ventured off to explore life for themselves, it's time for me to start my own adventure. I choose to live each day, laughing, living, and making memories. Now... I'm looking for that "unique" man that can share in all those memories yet to be made. Interested in learning more, or think you may have the personality that compliments mine, I look forward to hearing from you. I like reading,movies,football,dogs,swimming and I have a self deprecating sense of humor. Big fan of sarcasm,salsa and chips, snowstorms and Seinfeld (see what I did there? They all begin with the letter "S"...interesting? No? Ok,lol. My goal is to be with someone who "gets" me...other than that....my cooking stills are very,very sad....however I have excellent dish washing skills! I think it's important to be able to communicate....at this stage of my life I have no interest in head games. (From what I can tell, the previous sentence is mandatory in all profiles...but how funny would it be if someone actually wrote: game playing appreciated because i'm attracted to guys who are in the midst of a deep homosexual panic and need to over compensate.....lol).I'm 50 and I am a woman who is comfortable with who I am. I'm not a woman who will go out to dinner and order a salad and water,lol. I'm not so much into going to a bar....but if I do go...I like an "old joint"....I was married for 10 years then divorced...then had an 18 year relationship that I should have left much earlier...my son is grown...I feel like this is my time.....oh....one more little teeny,tiny thing: I sometimes have this tendency to go off topic during discussions....for example, we might be having a perfectly lovely conversation about quantum physics or Einsteins Theory of Relativity and I suddenly ask if you've ever seen an Amish person with a wooden leg.....because I haven't. Seriously.....think about it...(sigh....)these are the things that keep me up at night. ;). UPDATE: I apparently need to clarify something....when I said I prefer "an old joint" I meant an old Bar or club. VS a new loud, noisy club.....an. old joint. With a jukebox and a mahogany.bar....lol....not an old joint as in smoking.....lol! ***. Does anyone on this site DATE? I get lots of messages but when I suggest setting up a date, dead silence. Seriously....this isn't rocket science. Get out from behind your computer and lets go on a date! A couple drinks....some laughs....geez.....if its not a "love connection", so what? Big deal! A few hours of laughing will be fun!!!!!! ***.... Not interested in a texting relationship!!!! Coffee or drinks....some flirting....laughing and a really great kiss...
