My friends would say they could call me at anytime for any reason and I'd be there. I'm genuinely a kind and caring person. People can depend on me and there are times I like to know I can depend on others. I have great friends and family. I have 2 of the best kids ***boy,11-girl) that I share 50% with their dad. I've been divorced for 5 years and my ex and I are cordial and put the kids first. They are both good kids, smart, and responsible. I love to try new things and go to new places. I will try anything! I can have a bag packed and be ready to go in 10 minutes! I'm not high maintenance, but I do enjoy an occasional dress up ocassion. I prefer finding a small corner bar or restaurant rather than a chain. I like to go to sporting events, festivals, hang out on the patio, have spontaneous get togethers, and meet new people. Anywhere by water is great. I like to cook out, love mexican food (could eat it everyday :). I like to take the long way home- you'll never know what you'll find or who you'll meet. I like to travel and hope to do more in the future. Eating together nightly as a family is important to me.Love, love, love to cook and try out new recipes. I like to do projects around the house and in the yard. Overall, I'm a pretty easy-going person. I don't let the little things bother me and I can definitely laugh at myself. I like to show affection and do little sweet things for my guy to let him know I'm thinking of him. I guess I'm looking for someone who is easy-going and honest about their feelings. Someone who likes to share the little things in life and wants a partner. I truly like companionship and sharing life's everyday little things. I appreciate someone who is open-minded. Someone who can have a conversation and not necessarily agree but will respect different opinions. Someone who likes to try new things and can strike up a conversation with anyone. I'm totally new to this dating thing...excited, but a little nervous! I am not planning on moving anytime soon so I hope to meet someone that's a reasonable distance away. My kids are with me most days in the summer, but they are with their dad every Thursday, Friday night as well as every other Wednesday and weekend. They are at awesome ages....still like to be with me but can also be left alone at times!

    The word I picked to describe myself is adventurous. I am not sure I have been completely successful as an adventurer but it is something I would like to get better at! I have a son and now that he is a little older ***yrs old) it is easier to go places and do things together. I decide a couple of years ago to make an effort to make some memories and we have. I like movies but you don't spend much time getting to know your date that way. Something low key and casual would be fine but truthfully, I want to have fun. I want to socialize and go to a comedy club and get to know people I have never met before and find ways to enrich my life. Let's go to the motorcycle show or a holiday party or coffee. My 17 year old daughter lives with me full time and my 11 year old son lives with his dad but spends a few days of the week with me. He thinks mom is pretty boring on her own so hopes that I find a friend that likes to do cool stuff.I would like to find a man with nice eyes and an easy smile. Belief in God is an absolute must. I desire to lead a healthier life and be more active so it would be great if those are your goals also. Someone who is considerate of others' feelings and not judgemental. Someone who still has a lot of life and fun in them and isn't ready to just sit on the couch and retire. Someone who is more outgoing than myself (which doesn't take much) who will gently and patiently ease me past my own comfort zone to try new things. I'd like a man that can be strong and assertive without being an overbearing ass. I want to live life with purpose on purpose and would like to find someone with that same mindset. Hiking, walking along the waterfront, a street fair.... anything that isn't just sitting across the table from each other. Being fairly shy, small-talk isn't my strong suit especially with someone I've never met before so if there is some kind of activity that would kind of take the edge off.
