I enjoy spending time with my friends and unfortunately for me, most of my friends live out of state or are in relationships and their lives are busy. I don't mind going to the bar and shooting some pool every once in a while but it is not my weekly or monthly agenda. Wanna have some laughs and go exploring a place you have never been? I have many friends that live out of state that I don't talk to on a daily, monthly, or weekly basis....it's okay with me, they are in my heart and if I need them they are there for me and vise versa. I am (not tooting my own horn here) a fantastic friend :)I am seeking friends first....I believe everyone is special in their own way and there is someone for everyone. I believe in integrity, the truth is always found out. Why carry a lie around with you making your life more difficult then just being honest with yourself. I don't know too many people in the area as I moved down here almost 2 years ago and have been commuting to my workplace until July when I finally transferred closer to home. I don't date people I meet at work or people that I work with. I believe that is not professional.....(besides, who wants to see someone every waking minute of every single day?) I'm sorry, I find that to be overwhelming. I enjoy my independence and not having to clean around the bottom of the toilet on a daily basis....(how is your aim?) I don't believe in putting out on the first date....second date....third date....oh wait....we aren't dating, remember??? I guess when I feel like there is a connection there and I wish to build on that friendship and the feeling is mutual....I will go with the flow ;) I am not seeking a fwb either...if that's your pleasure, keep on keeping on my friend, There are plenty of fish in the sea ;PUpdate....okay, so previously I was a non-smoker.....then I was an occasional smoker.....then I was a non-smoker....I have to say....I just am not very good at being a quitter! In all honesty, I fully quit smoking for well over a year....stress and lack of support overcame me and cigarettes became my crutch again, although I am not a heavy smoker and maybe smoke a pack a week....some days I don't smoke at all. It all just depends on what's going on.

    I live on Whidbey Island and love it here. Walks on the beach almost daily, community events just a great life style for me. Looking for someone to share it with. I have been told I am down to earth and love life.I work with at risk youth in vocational training to give them skills to find a job and stay out of trouble or get off the streets. I also work at a soup kitchen to feed the homeless and people in need. It has opened my eyes to appreciate what I have. I have lived the big house, cars, boat and toys life. It didn't make me happy to have those things. It was quite a bit of work in upkeep. So basically I would live in a cardboard box if we enjoyed each other. AND must love dogs. She is super cute and cuddly and has bad manners and licks some but isn't so rude to sniff your butt. I would enjoy planning it together.
