Very strange, but I like it. I've been back home in Winnipeg for a few years now and I'm real happy with what I've accomplished. I like where I'm at and I like who I am. I'm happiest at the lake. I can be a bit of a beach bum. A reading and swimming type of beach bum, if there are types. Swimming is my favourite thing to do. And lying on sand just feels good. I like to be active, though, too. Finding balance is important. I enjoy LONG walks, riding my bike, shooting hoops, painting.....whatever. I'm close with my family and I'm thankful for it. I would love to find someone who is cool. :) Cool as I see cool. Someone who I could sit and just talk and laugh with for hours doing nothing. I prefer comfortable, quiet (or sometimes loud) nights at home. But I'm an open, spontaneous kind of person. A night out salsa dancing? Yes! It's ok. I don't know how, either ;)

NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. My daughter comes first.. while highly capable she's pretty awesome and extremely well adjusted. Respect is not an option, it's demanded. I am in healthcare surrounded by people who need me 8hrs a day. I'm not looking to be a barfly or run non stop after I'm off of work. I like to smile n laugh a lot. Life is really tooo short to get down for long. Have been lucky enough to surround myself with an amazing network of friends and family. Cooking with my friends/partners is something I really love to do. I can do simple to complicated food lol ... don't know how? I'll teach ya some easy ones. It's been said I'm more of a 'guy's kinda gal' .. I don't consider myself a ultra feminine/girlie-girl... I'm not prissy.. I dont' care about the latest fashion trends but more into my own style and comfort :) However, I do like dressing upon occasion.. This being said..I'm not your hunting or fishing pal either. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.

I believe I am a good gal who's been blessed with a great family, great friends and a good career. I am happy in my life as it is but I think it would be nice to share it with someone.
