Hey- was definitely not thrilled at first to write the profile part……….(also have to say that it's hard to check the "select what you're looking for" . To me it seems you just have to see what happens.... anyway, I'm interested in meeting someone with a GREAT sense of humor, who loves to have fun, who deviates from the norm, who doesn't take things too seriously all the time, and is intellectual but can also appreciates wrongness. I admire someone who is confident, authentic, laid back, healthy and fit (but not fanatical), family oriented, and passionate (as I am) about what he does... Someone who can find humor in most situations is a big bonus.I love to be with my two children, good friends and family, to go out (for happy hour, ethnic food, dancing, etc.) as well as check out places I've never been. After college I had the chance to live there for many years. It was a great place to ski, mountain bike, kayak, hike, and all that crazy stuff. I still love to ski, and just got a pass for this season. So if you can keep up......ha!Love to read (fiction and non, historical fiction, biographies, etc.), dance, eat, go out to see music, and I love my work as an educator. With my job you have to have thick skin, to be able to roll with the punches, and laugh! I love people who are able to do the same.It would be fun to meet someone who likes to be active, to go out, but who also likes to relax. Life is pretty busy so I really value time to do that. There is much more but I find it weird to describe myself in words; I'd rather just be myself in person. up for most anything, but happy hour would be a good start!

My hobby is scrapbooking. I love to take pictures and scrapbook them. There is something about making fun memories and then looking back on them and smiling over and over. I love love love it. I have so much to give to a relationship. I have put so much time into my education and into my work. I like a variety so it isn't hard to enjoy the music no matter where I am usually. I have two nephews that are like my own children that I love dearly. I have a great niece and great nephew that are absolutely ADORABLE! I love to have friends come to our house, cook outside, swim and play games that always makes a good night a great one. I am compassionate, giving and a good person. I would probably like to have some dates talking and getting to know each other a little better so somewhere nice that we could set and have a conversation together would be a good date. I like to go to Riverwalk when it is nice outside. Later in the summer I really enjoy the bands they have there. I enjoy going to the movies. I like action movies and comedies. I like going to eat at a nice restaraunt that you can eat and talk.. just enjoy each others company. I would like to have a date with friends sometime. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends so that would definately be a first date option if you would enjoy that.

I like to try new things and learn; foods, shows, books, places, etc...I enjoy a good conversation and a couple of laughs with all different types of people. Traveling is something that I aspire to include in my spirit of adventure, but, I am holding back a little because my spirit of adventure includes my children. I enjoy them tremendously. That is adventure in itself!I like all different types of music, but I could do without country music. I usually listen to the "Top 40", lots of dance music, classical, jazz, and I like to throw in a little of the crooners! I have a few favorite shows.
