What can I say about myself.... I love sports, especially hockey. Go Habs Go! I enjoy board games, crib, pool, bowling and many other activities such as dancing, walking along the waterfront, beaches and parks. I read alot of mystery/romance novels and get my "ideas" to write poetry and I occasionally paint oil canvases.I have changed my profile to read that I am looking for a long-term relationship. Of course in order to reach that long-term relationship, you must date first, lol. Should I be fortunate enough to meet "the one" that I would share my hopes and dreams with, he would also have become by best friend.I work at a job I have been doing for over 20 years and I like it because of the people I work with. However, I would love to further my education and maybe try a different field. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks afterall, lol.I have a great personality which shines through with my quick wit and sense of humour. I like to play pratical jokes, so you could say I am a joker. I enjoy comedy whether it is in movies or live on stage. I'm a kind, warm hearted and fun-loving person. I can be a little sarcastic at times, but in a good way. Never the intention to hurt. I love to cuddle with that special someone, who I hope to find on this site. I'm honest, caring, and very passionate. I'm a very compassionate person as well and am told I am a good listener.I love to go dancing and listen to almost any type of music. I even like Metalica, lol. The only kind of music I really don't like is Raggae, however I haven't really heard much of it. I don't mind classical and jazz, on occasion.I'm hoping to find that special someone who I can share my life and dreams with. If you are someone who shares the same interests, or not, since I am open to try different things, then I'd like to hear from you. If not, don't bother since there will only be disappointment on both ends. I'm being upfront and honest and I would hope that you would be as well.I have recently decided to try to lead a healthier lifestyle, which by the way, sometimes can be a daily struggle, but I try. That is the definitive word, lol.P.S. I like most animals, however, to be honest, I am not a cat lover at all and since I also get all stuffed up with itchy/watery eyes, I'd hazard a guess that I am allergic to them. Update: I WILL NOT engage in sexual conversations online, so if that is all you are looking for.... MOVE ON!!!Update. Update: I have recently updated my photos, trying to keep as current as possible. I'm pretty much what you see. My first "breaking the ice" date, as I will call it, would most definitely be in a public place. A coffee shop or at a restaurant. Most likely somewhere we both would feel comfortable. I'm up for other suggestions as well. Once we "break the ice" and we mutually agree to a second date, then probably a movie, dinner date or whatever we decide. I'm pretty flexible.

    Hi - this is me looking for u! Actually looking for a "u" to hang out with, I look forward to new adventures but am content walking along the shore looking for beach-glass. I also work away at crossing off items from my bucket list. Most recently I took part in the New Year's Polar Bear Swim and went for my first motor-cycle ride. Loved it. ! I would like to try the Zip-Line,Water - I have 3 grown children- " Whew, made it" and I have had the good fortune to spend a great deal of time in the mud and dirt with my grand-son. I also have a new grand-daughter that I look forward to being a Nanny to.I like to travel but also enjoy the adventures that can be had close to home.I enjoy the opportunities and pleasures of all the seasons.-son and golf. In the winter - nothing better then bundling up and getting out into the snow, cross-country -skiing, snow-shoeing or building the biggest snow-man in the neighborhood. The spring sees me in a garden in my PJ's , dirty, walking and exploring local green-houses, and in the summer I hang out at the beach, music festivals and I love to kayak.I love to listen to all types of music, from Rock to Blues, Bluegrass to Classical - it's all good. I play the guitar, and am just gaining the confidence to play around others. My toes are always tapping and as a result I love to go dancing. There is nothing more magical then 2 people being in perfect sync on the dance-floor. ( especially when one of them is me).So if you love to sing at the top of your lungs when no-one is watching, , like the smell of clean sheets off the clothesline, can put up a clothesline, love the first bite of freshly baked cookies out of the oven, can share in the baking of the cookies in the oven ! love a good belly-laugh and,.. after taking a step forward, then back-wards you optimistically call it the, " Cha,cha, cha,... then" You get a line and I'll get a pole, and we'll go fishin' in the crawlfish hole,...."Happy Fishing.
