I'm about to turn 40 and I'm a full time student again.... I was a pharma rep for many years and am making a complete career change. I'm a freelance make-up artist and studying esthiology. I won’t date anyone who has been unfaithful in the past. I am looking for someone who's loving, dedicated, supportive, attentive and affectionate.

Hi.....I'm a fun free spirited person, and always smiling. A few places/things that I enjoy: live entertainment;(I love all music..not hard rock) fun in the sun; working out, spontaneous get-a-ways, a warm fire in the middle of the winter and fine wine with family & friends. My greatest joy is my 14 year old son. I am independent, and family and friends are very impt to me. I have longevity in relationships when honesty, realism and chemistry prevail. I can dress up or dress down. I work in the city, & enjoy my career. I'm health conscious & work out on a regular basis. I'd like to meet someone who I can connect with; someone who shares in the same values. It's always a nice feeling when you actually meet someone fun and honest. Honesty and trust is so important in any relationship:-). A nice first date would be to go to a quaint place; where the ambiance is comforting, have a glass of wine; or choice of beverage, maybe appetizers together and talk with one another. There's nothing better than sharing in conversation and getting to know each other on a deeper level.

I'm lured by subjects and people that sit somewhat on the edge of convention, people who aren't afraid to debate an issue on one hand while also being able to switch off and simply be. I can move with ease from being sassy and irreverent to being elegant and articulate. My playground has both swings and roundabouts, from late nights and good music (predominantly rock and some blues through soul, Motown and electronica l to perhaps prokofiev's dance of the knights -- but come around in time. Any Joe Strummer-ish (and, yes, i know joe's dead) types out there? (i'm just using joe to try and get across an idea of one perspective) not in looks as such nor in music but in attitude, who have grown in 'years' but remain 'tuned' in, to ideals, to thought, to literature, to the bigger picture yet can tune out and let the white noise descend. who simply just want to: meet someone they can have a laugh with, play air guitar, take a trolley ride, sing out loud in the car.....one last thing - I understand that, for various reasons, some people may not have a public profile pic...but it's only fair to send one if you do message me. I don't like responding to 'non visual' entities... no ideal - maybe a 'non-date'? an environment in which both can be as close as possible to whom they're comfortable 'being'
