About Me

Well........basically a down to earth girl that grew up mostly in a small town. Good family values, appreciate closeness within a family & love extended family contacts. I have played many sports & still enjoy doing as much as I can now when I have time, which is not often sadly. I go to the gym when I can & appreciate a man that also makes the effort to stay in shape (BUT....NOT a gym freak that can't enjoy life & a good meal once in awhile). I have learned over time that I am looking for a man that "respects" women, has patience and a good sense of humour with a slice of sarcasim......... well dressed, educated, travelled, nice teeth & physically fit! Haha. I want the whole package. Lol. I love a good debate and yes..........I like texting & getting msgs from my man through the day! (For those of u who don't communicate)! Lol. I have been fairly independant throughout my life and don't 'need' someone to take care of me (as nice as that would be, have never had).........therefore, just a partner to share lifes fun, travel, dinners and movie nights cuddling on the couch or nights at a cabin by a lake. Someone to be my best friend that I can tell anything to. I love quaint lounges with live music & enjoy most kinds of music; love to 2-step so hope u can dance, haha! I have raised my daughter alone for 17 yrs & moved to another country where I spent 10yrs living & working. I love the sun and hope to retire on a beach with my best friend someday. I will be honest........I have little to no faith in men anymore so am hoping there is a nice looking, patient, honest sexy man out there somewhere to prove me wrong.     Hi there - I'm glad you took the time to read this..... I would describe myself as a happy camper! I wake up in the mornings happy especially after I reach for a diet dew....my bad habit....LOL I try to make work fun for all of those around me....I have great friends and love hanging with them after work....they are my support group!I love to do home projects or should I say I dream up the ideas, I just need a man to help me get them done! ha haI have a fun, loving and honest personality and I smile a lot.....makes people think you are up to something....LOLI have one son who will be a senior in high school this year.....which means I will have the empty nest syndrome this time next year when he goes off to college....ugh! And he stops long enough to give me a hug when he sees I need it....I come from a family of 5 kids........I was right in the middle too.....I used to be a tough gal but somewhere along the line of life, I softened and now I prefer my lip gloss.....ha! :) I have lost both my parents and a younger brother....so I truly know that life is too short.....I want to meet the man that will stick by me and hold my hand.....I haven't had the best of luck in the "relationship" department and I am ready to be dealt a good hand for a change....I might be wounded, but I'm not completely broken.....still a hopeless romantic believing there is a nice guy out there that will appreciate me for who I am..... Dinner, sitting in a cozy spot...moving on to a small bar or winery....so we can visit and get to know each other......going to movie on the first date is out.....I don't feel you get to know the person very well.....
