Hi! I'm a girl. I like opportunities to dress up and look pretty. Sadly lacking in my current situation! I am a kind and generous person. I have a small circles of friends that I love spending time with. I really enjoy a good conversation. I fairly practical and organized. I'm loyal and thoughtful. Hiking, long bike rides, ferry to an island. I keep meaning to drive up to Lake Cowichan and go kayaking or paddle boarding - but these would be a lot more fun to do with someone special. Keeping active and moving is important to me, I walk to and from work each day and I think the fresh air is part of the reason why I have so far avoided catching the flu. I love to dance. I was so shy growing up that I didn't start taking ballet until I was in my early twenties. I've since stopped ballet, but I really enjoy the three modern dance classes I take each week. They say a smile can start on the face, that just by moving the muscles you can influence your emotions and will feel happier. I feel so much more alive and positive because I dance.I am a photographer. I love taking photos, especially of people. One day I'd like to start making money at it, but right now I still need a lot more practice. I do often go for walks without my camera, but I see shots everywhere. I sometimes like the free weekly iTunes or Starbucks song, which might mean I have hipster tastes in music. I am one of those people who when they hear a new song they like, listens to it on repeat over and over again until I know it by heart. And there's something special about listening to a voice quietly singing along to an acoustic guitar (like Ed Sheeran). One day I'd like to learn to play guitar. I'm hoping to date a man who is : taller than me, doesn't smoke, lives independently, has a job, is not a student, drives a vehicle (not only a motorcycle), is interesting to talk with, and is active. I want a boyfriend to spoil, to indulge in, to cuddle with, to watch sunsets with, and to let him know that he is loved. Someone to have some adventures with, to explore with. I dream about going to Tofino with a boyfriend. Seems like a really small thing, but I've never been and keep saving it as a special place to go with someone I love. Some friends think I'm nuts, but the ones who truly know me understand. First meeting will most likely be picking up a coffee and having a chat. If that goes well (you like me & I like you), then we could have a first date. Food and talking is always going to over well with me. Brunch or lunch or dinner and a stroll.

I like to camp, fish, boat, hike and run but don't get out to do them very much. I also like my down time to hang with friends and family or veg out in front of my tv, read a book or work on some of my crafts like scrapbooking or knitting (yes, I knit - you will never lack for a scarf or toque with me in your life!). I like all kinds of music, except rap, and I'm open to all movie genres except horror (I get nightmares). I also would love to travel more and see this great big world I'm trying to make it in. Hmm, I hate this part, as I am sure most of you out there do. First off I have 2 wonderful girls ages 10 and 11, they live with me full time, I am very family orientated and spend a lot of time with them.So I have been recently told that I am intimidating, I look at my self and I don't see it. So can someone please tell me why I am intimidating to talk to???? To be honest I am not sure what I am really looking for right at the moment. Start as friends and hang out, talk have fun would be good. I have lots of interests that range from reading to exploring. You want to know more than ask, I am not going to give you all the info here, yes I am going to make you actually use your keyboard and write. It tells me to talk about goals and aspiration once again ask, that is something that comes up in a naturally flowing conversation. Yes I am sarcastic and sassy, I am honest, I have my sweet side, I have a good sense of humor, I am fairly easy going and I have a brain that I do actually use. As for music my interest is a wide range. I read, I write, like all different movies, mostly action or thrillers for the most part. I am told I am a very interesting person, I can generally hold my own in a conversation even if its something I have no idea about.......Next few sentences may sound like I am bitter hardly I just have a very low BS tolerance**I have to laugh not sure what brings me back to this site. People say they are looking to chat, get to know people, I will try to start a conversation, and yet no response, If your only looking to chat does it really matter what the other person looks like. It's the same thing as looking to hang out, not looking for a commitment or anything when it comes down to it if your looking for friends DOES IT REALLY MATTER what that person looks like? Correct answer being NO!Oct.4,***Looking through profiles I find it hilarious that users without pics, demand that a person needs to have a pic to contact them....when only looking for friends...WTF....will never understand peoples mind set.**Now for the rest of you that are going on about finding the one, hate to break it to you but some supermodel isn't going to be sitting on the other side of the screen, so those for you that are looking for some perfect barbie looking trophy you are going to be sadly disappointed.** And those of you that are ***grow up, get out of the midlife crisis phase, take a look around you, you live in the Cariboo. Most of us women here are cariboofied, and those that haven't lived here long well they will be cariboofied in no time at all. Look beyond what is on the outside cause you ain't going to be pretty in another 20 to 30 years either. **This is not my first time here, I am not dumb, so please don't treat me as if I am. I try to live by 2 rules :#1: Treat others the way we want to be treated. #2: If you can't say anything nice than don't say anything at all. Screw the first date, let's just go find something to do and chill.

I always get asked what I like to do I'm pretty normal, take the dog for a walk, go to Home Depot ~ i love the smell of the store), going to see a movie or even booting around Nanaimo lakes... I love going to concerts.. I usually try to go to about 4 a year.. my most favorite concert was ACDC.... I enjoy going to the race tracks .... Crash to pass is my favorite!!!! :)

Alright I am not good at these things but I give it a shot! I always find it awkward to right, but what the heck here we go. . . . . . . Well for starters I really enjoy travelling and wish that I could go somewhere every year however, that doesn't always happen. There are many places around the world that I still want to investigate but haven't found that person to go with.Lets see what else, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, go to the movies or out for dinner. Maybe just stay home and play some board games or something. I also enjoy just going for a walk either just around the block or maybe the riverwwalk. I really want to get into hiking and have done some but don't really know of very many spots. As for music and movies I enjoy most types, for the most part I will give anything a try at least once.Want to know more. . . . . . . just ask!!!!!!
