I am 35 and back on the dating scene again after a short hiatus. I opened my own small dog grooming business a few months ago and keep busy with that. I am confident in myself and in life, and I am happy where I am. I'm not a headcase or a game player, I really don't have time for that. Although all this sounds very serious and down to business, that's not all of who I am. I am looking for a serious relationship, but not in the intense serious kind of way. I'm an independant kind of girl, and am not looking to be suffocated by someone. I am looking for a man to compliment my life, to improve it, not be it. And we can do those things apart of course, but always trusting and knowing that we will be regrouping and reconnecting soon. My hobbies are anything really. I love to keep busy, and would love someone to help keep me busy. I am into river kayaking, and am trying hard to improve at that right now. I have been experimenting a bit with dragon boating for a short time. I enjoy indoor rock climbing (but with no partner I haven't done it in a while), and I'm not adverse to learning outdoor. Along with sporty stuff, I also need my down time. I love to read, and do anything crafty or creative. I've just started taking guitar lessons as well (and wow, am I bad at it). I do drink socially, and don't mind if you do as well, but I'm not interested in someone who is a daily drinker. I have been vegetarian for almost 10 years and eat vegan at home (but you can eat whatever you want). I don't smoke and can't date a smoker. I don't do any drugs, well, mushrooms once in a blue moon :) But I need to be really comfortable with someone before I'll go there. My life goal is just to enjoy it! I work a lot right now, but am hoping that it pays off in the long run. Even though I love my job, it is still a job, and I love time off and doing things more. And I guess that is my goal. To have my business running successfully enough that I don't have to be there all time! I would rather be out enjoying life and laughing with someone beside me :)I am looking for a man who is confident and secure. He needs to be more on the assertive side and not be shy. Physical attraction is very important to me, so I'm just going to list a few of the things that are deal breakers for me... You have to be at least a few inches taller than me, you need to be at least slightly athletic, you need to not shave your chest (or at least be willing to grow it back), and no smokers!!!!! A first date doesn't need to be craziness! I think something where conversation is encouraged, and getting to know one another. I think a first date is enough of a new experience that you don't need to add more to it. Just coffee, maybe some drinks, and conversation is all I require.

Most of my goals involve health, finance and travel. I've decided to change careers. I don't believe it's okay to complain about something if you're not willing to make changes to improve your own life or your situation. I'm very excited about this new beginning. I'm happy to be in a position where I can change careers. I recently renovated my home in the country. It was a shwack load of work and a lot of learning but looks pretty a okay. Next time ill buy pre finished hardwood. Lol. At some point in my life I'd like to go noodling but not sure if I could do it. I'm pretty much game to go anywhere I've never been or return to places I enjoyed. Im currently saving for a 6 or 8 month tour involving volunteering in a 3rd world country. I'm looking for a fun open honest relationship where the give and take is equal. I have my stuff together. I own my own home. I'd hope to find someone that also somewhat has their affairs in order and isn't a total sponge or needs a Mommy. Liking kids is a must. I'm pretty independent and I think time apart is just as important as time together. I probably don't wanna go watch UFC with you at so and so's house but might come to check it out sometime. I'm sure we'll figure it out depending on what our similar interests are or try something totally new. Horse races, live theater, rad food, go karting, movies, mini golf, museum, walk ect...I hate coffee.
