Having lived through the Saints' Superbowl season in NOLA, I have become a football fan although I must admit, I'm still trying to figure out the game! We meet for brunch (great excuse to have a drink before noon) and then spend some time exploring one of DC's museums, historical sites or parks. Or maybe we just go to IKEA -- seriously, if you can assemble some particle board Swedish furniture using only pictures without killing each other, it's a good sign.

Hey there, thanks for stopping by and checking out my page! I like it down here. I love the beaches, and though it gets unbearably hot sometimes, I don't miss having to shovel snow. Now that I'm back in PC, I'm within 5 minutes of most of my family, and being so close to them means a lot to me.I've been working for the same company for almost 13 years, and I couldn't work for a better company. I love being surrounded by different people and having the opportunity to make their experience a little bit better. My career means a lot to me, and I've worked hard to get where I am. As for my free time, I'm pretty much up for anything as long as I'm with good company. I figure if you're with the right people, you can make it a fun time no matter what. I like going out, but enjoy staying in and watching a movie or playing a game too. I don't go out to bars or clubs much anymore, and I'm not a big drinker, but I'll go with some friends occasionally, mainly to socialize. I like bowling, and shooting pool. I really enjoy going to Busch Gardens also. I love roller coasters! I like going for bike rides, especially when I have someone else to enjoy it with. I also watch UFC when I can catch the fights. I work out once or twice a week and I enjoy that. I just started to play a little tennis too, and that's been fun. I'm pretty easy to please. I try to avoid drama, and I hate when people play games. There's a million other things I could say, but that takes the fun out of meeting up and getting to know one another! If you already know it, bonus points for you! I'm up for anything that involves being able to communicate and get to know one another better. Going out for dinner or drinks, hanging out at an amusement park, going bowling, taking a walk on the beach...anything like that. There's always time for quiet nights and movies later, once you get to know someone better.

I'm fairly new to this. In the past, I have identified as straight/hetero, although I have always been attracted to women for most of my life. I have probably been attracted to women for WAY longer than I was attracted to the male gender, but I just naturally did what society expected of me cuz that was the "norm." However, the older I get, the more I want to be true to MYSELF and do what makes ME happy, regardless of what others, including loved ones and family, may think. I would "label" myself as bi- or Omni-sexual, in that I'm not "attracted" to a person based on their gender. I'm a pretty intellectual person in a lot of ways (quite contrary to my artsy ways), but that's just how I am. For me, attraction is WAY more than physical attributes, it's about how well I get on with a person in all these other facets. That takes time, unfortunately, and in a fast-paced society, everyone wants "fast relationships." I never was one for that sort of thing, even when I was exclusively dating the male gender.Primarily, I'm just looking for like-minded individuals to meet, get to know, and to take it from there. Who knows what could happen? Maybe nothing will happen, but at least now I'm being true to myself and admitting it to myself.
