I am tired of talking about myself. That is hard to do.Online dating is like rhino hunting in NH. Really. If you have done this for any amount of time , you know exactly what I am talking about. But would like to build something with someone.I have traveled, both because I was raised in a military family and because I traveled on my own. New people and new places don't intimidate me. In college, while living in Europe, my girlfriends put me in charge of the train schedule and making sure that we got to where we needed to be. I love doing things like that.I am a people person. I love understanding others and hearing their stories. I love old people. I love young people. I hate pretentious people and people who do not take charge of their lives. Ok, not hate. Hate is a strong word. Dislike. Intensely. Looking for someone older 30s or 40s. NOT interested in young guys. It is much too tedious. Someone intelligent. A man who has kids is preferred. Someone who goes and gets what he wants. I can't do small talk with strangers. Either you want to meet or you don't.I am a take charge kind of person, however, I will not make the first move. I love to read, play board games (if I have ppl to play with!), MUSIC is a big part of who I am...I like many different types: jazz, bluegrass, rock, reggae, metal, 80's! I love art and beauty and nature. I love to try unknown restaurants or pubs and see whats out there in the area. I have lived in many places all over the world. I am having a hard time meeting people here. Most people are too young, too "old", married, or have 50 babies or cannot hold a conversation. No offense! I have a teenage son who doesn't not live with me at the moment. I am separated, my husband is not living in this state and we intend to divorce. Some shows I like: Parks and Recreation, Master Chef, Arrested Development. I DO NOT like those dumbass reality shows like Dancing with the Idiots or those singing shows. I'm not big on shopping. I'm kind of a hippie in spirit, I guess...a bit of a Libertarian in politics, though I'm not really into politics. I like candles that smell good :) I smoke but would like to quit. I think marijuana should be legal. I drink occasionally but usually get tired from one or two drinks, lol. My goal is to make some friends and do some fun things while I'm here :) Ask me to check out a band with you, a restaurant you'd like to try, coffee and dessert at a book store...who knows? :)

I seriously hate these things- how do you sum up an entire personality in a paragraph? Ok here goes! I love to laugh, I love to make people laugh, I love people who make me laugh- see a pattern here? I know the words to millions of random songs but for the life of me I couldn't tell you who sings them. I am the most open minded person you will ever meet- say what you want, do what you want, believe what you want.
