Hey there! Thanks for stopping. First off I am 24 and am a single mother to two wonderful children. They are the light of my life and my reason for bettering myself as a person. I do enjoy going out every once in a while, but I am at a point in my life where I just find the bar/club scene like a waste of my time. I do not do drugs, nor will I tolerate any being done around me. I have too much going for me to risk the loss of a dram on one stupid substance. My business is something that I take very seriously, and am more than willing to share it with you if you are ready and willing to take that next step and live a dream. All the time I am asked "What are you looking for on this site?" so I figured that I should just put it in the profile now, so that there are no miscommunications. What I want is someone who is driven, someone with dreams and goals, who is not afraid to do whatever it takes to achieve them. Someone who will write more than "hey" or "what's up sexy" (these are really big pet peeves of mine) I need to make a friend before I can even consider it going anywhere further. I don't think that I am a picky person when it comes to looks or any of that vain mumbo jumbo, but water does seek it's own level.I would like to mention, I have a few deal breakers.. If all you are looking for is a hook up please move on. I have better things to do with my time than that. To me sex is something saved for an actual relationship, not just because I have an urge. You must be okay with kids, I have my daughter full time and have split custody of my son with my ex. I DO NOT need a father for my kids, but you must know that I am a packaged deal. I crave romance more than anyone I know, maybe because it is not something I can honestly say I have ever had in a relationship. So with that being said I would love something cheesy. I am not a picky girl if you try I will pick up on it and it will most likely be a highlight in my life! :-)Really not into movies on a date though, I would like to do something where I can actually see you and be able to talk to you.

I'm a big fan of music. I'll listen to most anything except for country music and contemporary Christian music. I'm not a fan of either. I can't put into words how much I loathe those two genres. Even though I don't like ccm music, I do love worship music but I'm kinda picky about that too. I don't have any favorite artist or bands but I do have favorite genres. I love classical, jazz, blues, and indie pop/rock. I also really love music from the 90's/early 00's AND music from musicals/animated films.I’m looking for short term/long term dating and possibly marriage (but that's wayyyy down the road). I don't want to put that pressure on myself or the other person to make things more serious than it actually is. Okay here goes...I am a native of the quad cities and yet there are some places people talk about here that I have never seen. I work full time at a job that I am trying to love and I also taking some classes online which leaves me not a whole lot of time to get out and meet people. When I do go out I enjoy going to listen to live music and drinking some wine - I'm not huge on bar scenes except to people watch! I would much rather go to a concert than a movie. I work with animals on a daily basis and have two dogs at home who are pretty important to me. I have worked as a zookeeper - with water spitting chimpanzees and I loved every minute of it. I enjoy sports -- esp. World Cup Soccer and hockey. I have an acoustic guitar that I would really love to learn how to play (maybe someday). Thunderstorms make me giddy - the more severe the more I enjoy them. Over the years I have been working my way through AFI's top movies - I am about a fourth of the way through. I'm a pretty easy going person who is sarcastic most of the time but I know when to be serious. Feel free to ask me about anything I left out!
