Amish Country, but no, I am not Amish. I have a degree in Elementary Education and I volunteered at one of the city elementary schools. Now that my year-long service term is over, I was hired as a teaching assistant at the school I volunteered with. I am now a fulltime third grade teacher at a different school. With my recent jobs, I was able to move into my own apartment a few months ago. It's really exciting, but rather lonely. The first furniture I bought for my new place was another bookshelf. I even have the first book in German.Currently I'm reading a lot of children's books to prepare myself for my future career, but I read almost anything.I enjoy learning random facts and trivia and remembering them.I am super involved with my church as a Sunday school teacher, youth advisor, and regular attendee.
