Well a little about myself.... This last year has been packed full of change. Some good, some not so good. Everything is now falling into place very nicely. I am a very outgoing girl. I do everything from riding my own motorcycle, to sking, to scuba diving. There is only a few things I won't do. I like to do things on the spur if the moment as well as stay home and watch movies and BBQ in the backyard with friends. I am very close to my family and my son. Hello! Hope life is treating you well. I'm gonna keep this as short and sweet as I can. I love a guy with a great sense of humour. Laughter IS the best medicine. (If you're not a fan of sarcasm, we may not get along fantastically). The most attractive thing about any guy is self-confidence. Of course, there is that fine line that can sometimes be crossed, but in general, be confident.......it's sexy!! I love to travel and would love to find someone who wants to travel with me. I'm a Rider fan. Love watching football, and love it even more when I can go to the games. That will be a big part of my summer and fall, being that I actually got myself some season tickets this year. (And, I also scooped up some Grey Cup tickets!) I'm not a fan of talking dirty on here, so if that's something that you are interested in, my skills will disappoint you. I recently went back to college and changed careers. I was a hairstylist for 20 years, owning my own business for 10 of those. I do not have children, but would not be opposed to getting to know someone who does. Another interest that I have is acting. I was lucky enough to be a part of a production that travelled all over the province for six years, and I loved it. On a more realistic scale, if I have the time, I would love to join a theatre group in Saskatoon. A few more random facts about myself might include......... I know how to check the oil in my car, and I can fix almost anything with duct tape! (You can thank my father for these skills!) I enjoy camping and being outdoors. Tried fishing for the first time last year, and I have to say, I kind of enjoyed it. I enjoy a wide range of music.......but 80s is probably my favourite go to!........ First let me say that I am a bit old fashioned, If a man doesn't have the courage to write me a message to say hi when he is interested and see if there is any connection then I don't view him as a person I'd be interested in. I'm not into people that can't take the bull by the horns so to speak. :-) I am normally attracted to someone who is out going but not prideful and self involved. I also like the person I'm dating to be in somewhat good shape(not perfect) and not be too thin. I need someone to hold onto...lol. I'm a bit like a sweet quiet storm that is nice to enjoy and is soothing to the soul. The kind that makes you want to cuddle up and just listen as it rumbles in the distance, And sometimes I'm bright, sudden, exciting and fun. The kind that gets your heart beating fast! I am a mixture of both the quiet, peaceful, serene, laid back part of the world but I also get charged, eager, passionate and ready for the excitement that the world has to offer. Why pick just one way to live. I'm here to learn and enjoy life along with learning from my mistakes, and I have made many mistakes in life and am humbled. I'm hoping that I can find someone who understands the true meaning of being humbled and can be thankful for all the blessings that are given to us to try again and again. I am not one of those who believes that I am always right, actually everyone has a rightness in their own logic but it comes down to finding the best way to accomplish things together with compromise on both sides. My relationship with God is also very important to me and I hope to find someone that may not be perfect but loves God and strives to be a better person everyday. I'm extremely honest and loyal and never falter in my promises to be true to the person I love. I was married for 17yrs and there is no drama or craziness between my ex and I. We are still friends and on good terms with each other. I am a very cuddly type of person and I love to give hugs and touches through out the day to the person I love. I am not object-oriented, materialistic or overly concerned with fashion and looks but I work hard to be able have adventures and I keep myself in pretty good shape. I'm not the kind you will find in a gym but I prefer to workout in the beautiful outdoors whether it's raining or not, bring it on. :-) I don't like to crowd others, and sometimes need space to myself but I also love get togethers with friends and family.I'm a phlebotomist who loves my work. I work with donors who are amazing and giving. I am blessed with a job that can help save peoples lives and it humbles me.I have three great children-18, 7 and 6, full of energy who like to do anything outside. We like to go camping, hiking and swimming. As long as it's outside they're up for it, even helping out doing yardwork.I also love to joke around so If I like you, you're in for it ;-)PS. If you don't have your divorce papers signed and dated please do not contact me. It's a waste of everyone's time and energy. I like to go on walks in a park or laying on a lawn and talking when I first meet someone, but I'm open to whatever you'd like. :-)

Makes me look like a bubble butt. :)***Update: I know Im not a Beauty Queen, but I also know Im not the Bride of Frankenstein either. Having said that, I do have a type....just like everyone else on this site. We all decide to *** on what we are attracted to. That doesn't mean I base everything on looks. But you have to start somewhere. Let me just say now, if you *** I dont respond....I am sorry. There is nothing wrong with you or with me. Just means there wasnt enough in common to start anything. About Me:***......I am currently a work in progress. I woke one morning and finally decided it was now or never. I am down 20 lbs and back in the gym. However, if you read this....I still am not one of those health freak types. I have just reached a point in my life where I want to look better and feel better. it's for me and me alone. I live on my own my my son who just turned 15. I also have a daughter who is 21 and on her own and soon to be married. I've been divorced now for 5 years and have been in a couple of serious relationships and dated several times. I was burned pretty bad in this last relationship,but I am back looking again. (Crazy fool huh?) I honestly don't think all men are the same. I'm a very positive thinking person and I know there is someone out there for me. A little about me...... I have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. So you have to be able to handle that. I cant help it. I love to laugh and feel that laughter warms the heart. I rarely meet a stranger and am easy to get along with and always wake up in a good mood. I'm an excellent cook, or so I've been told. I believe that love and friendship is a two-way street. Although it is rare that both people in a relationship give the same amount at the same time; it is important they both strive to give at least 100% at all times. Its my opinion, when you care about someone, you want to please them and make them happy (without keeping score). Seeing them happy, makes you happy. If both parties are of this belief life would be so much easier.I love to watch movies.). Am willing to try new things, although I'm afraid of heights, so no jumping out of an airplane please. I try to keep an open mind. I don't feel that I am at all clingy. I like to have my alone time just like anyone else. I really don't like double standards. While I think being healthy and taking care of yourself is important, its not the end of the world if you gain a few pounds. I dress nice, fix my hair and I fix my face. BUT....I'm not going to stress out over 10 pounds! If you think that is where true beauty lies, move on please....I'm not for you. Besides, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Although I'd say I'm Average in body type, I listed A few extra pounds. Average is subjective. Most of the men in my life have said I am curvy & large in all the right places. Maybe a little thick (working on that), but no where near large. Again, I think I'm average.What I'm looking for......I'd like to find someone that I can be myself with. Whether I need to be serious, silly or a little bit crazy. I don't want someone that I would be afraid of being honest with. Life is too short to waste time being judgmental or unforgiving. If someone hurts me, I get over it quickly. And I forgive quickly. Almost to a fault. I expect the same in return. I am not perfect, so I WILL make mistakes. As will you. Please don't humiliate me for it. I'm a great conversationalist and naturally Id like to find another. Show an interest in me. I don't have a problem txtn/emailing you, but if you don't ask questions or take the initiative to reach out to me 1st at times, I might get the impression you're just not that into me. Seriously. If you don't know what to say, ask me about the weather! I can work with that. I'm a little old fashioned. I like the guy to take some initiative. I'm not looking for perfection. Not even close. I want to be loved, to love, to be respected and appreciated. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for those I care about. Last but not least......chemistry. Its a must. If it's not there, why bother?I don't know what else to say, It's rather hard to find things to write about yourself without sounding too negative or overly confident. I guess to sum it up, I think I am fun to be around and interesting. I know I must have some faults though..........Maybe not. Just kiddin. I am looking for someone who would be kind & gentle natured. Slow to anger and quick to forgive. Someone who can be serious, funny, passionate and knows how to treat a lady. I am looking to find that kind of relationship that just the thought of seeing the person puts a smile on my face. Someone to always look forward to seeing and spending time with. If you have an ongoing battle with your ex(es), baby drama, more than one baby momma, unable to pay your bills, take care of your responsibilities and constantly blame everyone else (except yourself) for your life woes, We are not a match. I live a simple, drama-free life because I prefer it that way. Anywhere quiet so we can talk & get to know one another better
