What you see is what you get. My friends descibe me as a bit of a nut at times, but slightly intimidating at first glance, fun, big heart in a small body, goofy and sarcastic all in one. I have no issues with making fun of myself if i have done something stupid or out of the ordinary. I have been playing softball for the past 5 years and I love every aspect of it. I couldn't have asked to be placed on a better team, my only regret is not playing earlier in life. I love ALL NE sports teams and usually try to make at least one game of each sport per season. Nothing is more exciting then the excitement you get when you are at a live game. I am a disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force-National Guard***rd Security Forces Squadron. My family and friends mean the world to me, i don't know where id be today if it wernt for thier never ending support in all that i choose and have chosen to do in my life. But, I am also not a person that is fond of the word "date" I feel it puts too much pressure on people when they first meet. I say, let's meet up a few times, for maybe some drinks and conversation and save the "date" for when we know one another a little better :-)

There should be something in between "I want a relationship" and "I want to date but nothing serious", if that was a choice I'd choose it...That said, I think I'm a pretty normal person. I like to cook, and watch movies, and read books. I love sports, both watching and playing. I LOVE nature (totally obsessed with the moon) and animals. I have a cat and a snake, and I have been patiently waiting for "dog time" for years. I love to travel, and I want to go everywhere. I spent two months in West Africa last fall, and it was an amazing experience. All of the adjectives and emotions. Right now I'm in a full time surgical tech program. It's super intense, and TONS of work, but I'm doing well and really enjoying it (even if I'll never be not exhausted again!) I like to think of myself as a conscious mind, I mean I strive to be on a daily basis. If you've read any of Eckart Tolle's books you might have a better idea of what I mean. Family is extremely important to me, and that includes my good friends. I'm lucky enough to have a great group of them. As for music, it's a huge part of my life. I love it. I like pretty much everything that is well-done. I'm not really into country though. And most of the pop culture stuff doesn't really do it for me either. Unless I'm at a club of course, but that's a rare occurrence these years! I live with musicians, so that may very well have made me a slight music snob! I'm pretty much an open book, so if you have any questions go ahead and ask away. First date... like, describe a date? I like things to happen naturally, so, I guess just meeting up somewhere (maybe outdoors would be nice if the weather allows), hanging out, and seeing what comes of it?
