A first date depends on the people who are going to meet and what they both enjoy. I would want my first date to be something we both enjoy doing. I would not want my first date to be at Starbucks ( also over- rated). LOLHaving said that, I think the first date should be decided by us ( together). If your idea of a first date is Starbucks, Wings and Things, or at your house, then count me out. A good first date for me would be going for a walk near the beach or in a park, then a happy hour somewhere, preferably a place outside with a band. Have you ever been to Monterrey Bay Cannery ( spelling ?Of course this is just one suggestion I have.- frame cottage, then cook some ravioli while drinking a glass of Merlot and have dinner in front of the fire. Now that's a date! My security guard would be in the next room of course!! JKLets just wait and see how we connect and then decide what we should do... OK?

Not liking this part very much. Can't we just talk on the phone? I was married for 20 years. Divorced/separated now for five years. Two grown children making their own decisions while I sit back and cringe while biting my tongue. I have steady employment in the nonprofit medical field which is almost exactly what I want. Count me in.I love a really good coffee first thing in the morning when the sun is coming up and I like to end the day on the patio.
