I guess the atmosphere that I'm trying to create here is that I'm a friend first and a boyfriend second, and probably an entertainer third. Nothing to extravagant though because the only thing worse than a horrible date is one that drains your wallet too. Seriously though, I would always recommend a safe location for a first and subsequent dates with someone until you have really gotten to know them.
