Hmmm ok here goes... I'm really laid back and like to do my own thing. I prefer tank tops and flip flops but can clean up well too. Well, here I sit wondering where to begin talking about myself.Geez, it's so much easier I think to describe someone else other than trying to write about yourself. But here goes...I've procrastinated enough..I have been divorced for 3 years now and unfortunately, would have preferred that I didn't have that on my resume of life but it is what it is. I also coach tennis and dance. I love the beach any time of the year. There's something about the water that's just cathartic to me. People watching can be pretty entertaining, too.The fall is my favorite season, and I love everything about it... pumpkins, apple picking, hiking, Thanksgiving, etc.I've traveled all over the Caribbean, and have discovered some amazing places. I love to ski and spend many weekends in VT. I'm a big Patriots and Red Sox fan (usually goes over well around here), and I love taking road trips to see both teams play. There are few things better better than football Sundays with a roaring fire, full belly and a big glass of wine! Well, maybe a sunny Sunday spent out on the water...I'm a planner at heart, but not opposed to being spontaneous now and then. I like having things to look forward to, and have become a pseudo-"Julie McCoy" amongst my groups of friends. I'm figuring out that I have a pretty good grasp on what I'm looking for...and what I'm NOT looking for...however, it's not exactly easy to put into words. I believe in communicating not arguing; calling rather than texting. It's pretty difficult to get to know someone via text conversation.We've all got a past, and I think everything happens for a reason. I've learned that you can't judge someone based on things they have done or situations they've found themselves in because, in reality, all of those things made us who we are today. And I wouldn't change who I am for anything. We can meet for anything from a drink to dinner. I'm not much of a coffee fan, so Starbucks is out...First "meeting" doesn't count as a date, FYI :)

I am looking for my best friend. I was married for almost 15 years and when we stopped being friends, it stopped working. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I think being friends first is pretty important. If you just want sex...they are prostitutes trying to make a living hanging out in the streets every night and there are escort services and happy endings at massage parlors, and there are websites geared just for people who are looking for random sexual encounters...but I can not stress enough I'M NOT ONE OF THEM. Point being is I like to take my time getting to know someone. I'm not in any hurry.I'm about 5'2" with a curvy body, dark reddish brown hair, brown eyes and freckles. I am a mother of an 8 yr. old boy. I have a job and live on my own...in other words I take care of myself. I'm smart, independent, creative, adventurous, funny, sarcastic, affectionate, honest, loyal, artistic, romantic and sexy. I'm very passionate about photography, my camera and equipment go with me everywhere. I love being outdoors taking pictures of every place I explore. I really enjoy hiking, kayaking and fishing.
