Yuck! I hate essay questions. And I'm not good at writing long, flowery speeches that nobody's interested in reading. Sigh..OK,here we go: I'm a single mom ***yr old boy. I work full-time in retail. I'm not necessarily looking to get married although I've never tried it. I've heard it's not so awful- depends who you ask, I suppose. I'm just looking for that "right" someone who is willing to put up with me for the next few whatevers. I'm not interested in the bar scene - been there/done that - I'm sure that it's pretty much the way I left it. I'm a Recovering alcoholic ***yrs. If you're a weekend-warrior ( or weekday), I'm not interested. An occasional, social drink is fine. You know which one you are. I'm very comfortable with quiet nights at home, watching TV or a movie, although I would NEVER miss an opportunity for a dinner out. I like pretty much anything on the radio but Country and RAP. I'm not into soaps - day or night-time. I don't really have any "hobbies". I'm saving that for when I'm REALLY old, my son is grown and I'm retired - so, probably not any time soon. I usually watch stuff like the news, HGTV, HLN, TMZ, Investigation Discovery, History Channel ...I guess my hobby is knowing what's going on. ; ) First Date?Ok - anywhere and anything I don't have to pick up at the grocery store, cook ,and clean up after. Had fished with my dad all my life, but our first fly fishing trip... with my dad a few years ago.I went right out into the river with my hip boots on ready to take it on and cast, my reel flew off my rod. I spent the next 45 minutes trying to just stand up in the river and save my reel, making a rats nest out of my line. Wanted to quit. Next day, we went out with a**** SOB guide, who told me, "when reeling in a fish, it's like a dance with your partner, sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow." Really? And you won't marry your girlfriend of 8 yrs...are we really going to get a fish?"I out fished them both, an amazing fishing trip....and that weekend also taught me a lot about life and relationships. MyThat was mine and my dad's last fishing trip.My 30 yr. old secretary told me that a fish story on a dating site wasn't good. What? I believe it says a lot...in a realtionship sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow, you have frustration but you don't quit, a little hook doesn't mean you won't catch a big fish, the bait you use is not more important than the strength of your line, and that you need to be present every minute because you never know if you'll ever have that opportunity again. I thought it said it all but, ok fine, I'm a therapist, clinical director and owner of a mental health agency. I love to fish and camp and do that often. Enjoy cooking, but no just for myself but with someone else, am easy going, and really don't need an agenda to have fun and laugh everyday. Whatever we decide will be best for both of us.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! As my Intro line says I do have a zest for life and I'll try anything once! I would love to go on the Amazing Race just for the experience of travelling and rappelling and trying foreign cuisines. As it is I'm an avid cyclist(mountain and road) and I'm up for showing others how much fun it can be! I also enjoy running ,rollerblading,skiing,snowshoeing,hiking and camping. I like discovering other persons hobbies and learning what gets them jazzed up!My other passion is cooking. I love trying new dishes especially breakfast (my favorite meal) So I guess I'm what you call a "foodie". I would love for the person I meet to have an "live to eat" type of personality. Recently I learned how to make wine and has a blast with it! Now I hope the wine comes out all right...only time will tell! Next I'm going to try my hand at beer making.I am very lucky that I have such a great family and wonderful group of friends and I'd love for the person I meet to be apart of that as it would be an easy transition. Most of all, I would like someone I can share all parts of my life with and be my best friend. A hike would be nice or how about a visit to the comedy club who doesn't like comedy?

Hi guys!!! I just wanna find a man that is sincere fun and wants to appreciate me and let me appreciate them '................So with that said I havent been on here in a long time. I got discouraged because i came across to many men that were catfish lol and not serious or not honest and life is to short to waste time over nonsense but i also am aware that i am lonely and dont want to be alone i have a large family and many friends and nieces and nephews that i devote a majority of time too, however I want a partner in my life to make me feel special and beautiful and to stimulate my mind and just enjoy life with me. I love entertaining and love to make every holiday a special day. to get away for a weekend with a spontanous guy would be great. I am grateful for absolutely everything i have even though it may not be much.
