I recently ran my first half- I'm training for another one in October, want to join me? I am always up for anything (as long as it doesn't include jumping out of an airplane!). There's not much I won't try. Amusement parks, concerts, picnics in the park, sports events, cooking dinner and renting a movie, going for a hike or a bike ride, playing miniature golf, sightseeing, camping, or taking the kids bowling...it doesn't matter. The company is so much more important than the activity itself. My match would need to be someone with the same thirst for companionship and contentment. He would also need to love children. In addition to my own two children, I also have ***th-graders, and I love being involved in their extra-curricular activities. I am looking for someone who would share that passion with me. However, even though my kids are my greatest joy, I do understand the importance of "getting away" without them sometimes, and I am certainly not one of those parents who has no life outside that of my children. Anywhere that we can spend time talking and getting to know eachother... Going out for drinks and/or dinner tends to lend itself well to great conversation, but I'm also not opposed to something more creative!
