Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile!I think one of the most important things to know about me is that I am extremely positive and intensely loyal. I am at the point in my life where I don't want to play games (bet you haven't heard that one before!); I'll be straight forward with you and let you know exactly what I am thinking and how I am feeling. I enjoy life and I am looking for someone special to enjoy it with. I am definitely a "people person." I love to spend time with the people I love, whether it's a group of friends or just that special someone. The best evenings are often those that start out unplanned, but end up with a bunch of people hanging out, maybe having a few drinks on someone's deck, grilling, and laughing the night away. I also really enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, such as camping, running, biking, swimming, kayaking, and tubing. I recently ran my first half- I'm training for another one in October, want to join me? I am always up for anything (as long as it doesn't include jumping out of an airplane!). There's not much I won't try. Amusement parks, concerts, picnics in the park, sports events, cooking dinner and renting a movie, going for a hike or a bike ride, playing miniature golf, sightseeing, camping, or taking the kids bowling...it doesn't matter. The company is so much more important than the activity itself. My match would need to be someone with the same thirst for companionship and contentment. He would also need to love children. In addition to my own two children, I also have ***th-graders, and I love being involved in their extra-curricular activities. I am looking for someone who would share that passion with me. However, even though my kids are my greatest joy, I do understand the importance of "getting away" without them sometimes, and I am certainly not one of those parents who has no life outside that of my children. Anywhere that we can spend time talking and getting to know eachother... Going out for drinks and/or dinner tends to lend itself well to great conversation, but I'm also not opposed to something more creative!

    I guess I should start by saying that I am not sure how I feel about meeting people on the internet. I come from the time when you met people in person, got to know one another and then it possibly developed into a relationship. However, I am past the stage in my life where I want to "hang out in bars" and I am not sure where someone my age goes to meet people these days.I am not in a hurry to jump into a serious relationship or get married. I am perfectly content with the life I lead with my six year old son. It would be nice to have another adult around to talk to on occasion, though, especially one that can make me laugh as that is probably my favorite thing in life.I am a very open minded person. I have my own opinions about most subjects. I would like to meet someone that is the same, in that, if our opinions differ on something like politics or religion, who cares!Some things I like to do when I have free time are watch movies, I am pretty diverse on the genres, but it would be especially nice to have someone to watch scary movies with on occasion as I do not like to watch them alone. :)Just like everyone else, I like to spend time with family and friends. Cook out, play games, whatever. I like to spend some weekends at home in my pajamas in front of the TV and others out doing something fun. Road trip (depending on the price of gas that day), dinner out, I am pretty open.I like some "outdoorsy" stuff and some "indoorsy" stuff, I am pretty easily entertained most of the time.I enjoy shopping when I need or want something, but that's it. I do not enjoy shopping just for the "fun of it", it's just not my thing.I don't mind watching sports for the most part with the exception of NASCAR and actually enjoy watching college football in the fall, especially the HOGS, as well as baseball in the spring but only if the Braves are playing and I can get it on TV. Some things I don't like to do...well...heights, I don't like 'em. I don't mind an amusement park, but you won't get me on a roller coaster, I will hyperventilate, not joking. Also, I don't like driving too fast. I like taking my time or even going off road occasionally.     I just moved here in February and I haven't really had a chance to do much of anything! I am very outgoing AND outspoken. I never meet a stranger. I love to talk and I've been told I have a very strong southern accent. They say laughter is the best medicine and I have to agree. I can be having a day from hell and then I can hear something i think is funny and the laughter that bubbled up makes my day so much better!
