If you read "The Prophet," under marriage, that pretty much sums up my idea of an ideal marriage. It's ok to relax, but I want man who is motivated & has drive to be on the go, entertaining me & our friends. I like a class clown, someone who has the confidence & intelligence to keep the ball rolling & have a good time with people. He must love people whether or not he is an extrovert. I, myself, get my energy from others & recharge being alone, so that would be great if my man were similar. I want to be able to spend an entire evening on a boat not saying a word to one another, except for him to get me another glass, & he wants some cheese & fruit. Wow, wouldn't that be great. Life's journey is about using each experience to become a better person.C. to win a bet, I asked an astronaut a question on live TV) and sometimes we have experiences not of our choosing. I believe in owning what happens and not letting what happens own me. I took weight lifting and tennis as my sport electives in college and loved them both. I don't have time to participate in those activities now but look forward to the day that I can. I think bacon and cheese make any dish better, and love crunchy peanut butter.I enjoy movies (crash-bang-explosion or murder-mystery types), sitting at a bar drinking and listening to live music, and reading in a corner somewhere. Or reading on the beach. I read The Help, the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series, and the Hunger Games series before they became movies, and loved both versions.;Outlander" series. I actually enjoy washing the car (not the cleaning it out part), mowing the grass, and gadgets. I love gadgets. I love sarcastic humor and dry wit, and try to find something funny in every situation.I am very independent and you must value the same, and understand that time alone is necessary to survival. I traveled to Europe when I was 20 while a student at UNC- A partner enhances the experience but is not required. I love, love, love eating at the local burger place or pizza joint. If they serve Pepsi, I'll love the place. I'm looking for someone that is interested in jumping in the car on Saturday and taking an unplanned trip. What to say here without sounding arrogant or like I am applying for some sort of job. Which I do have and I also go to school. I would say I am pretty balanced; a bit of a nerd, more of a jock, serious but still in touch with my inner child. I like being active and try to be outside doing activities in the summer time. I really enjoy cycling. I haven't been camping for a while but that is fun.I am not in to hunting, quadding or snowmobiles. I might go fishing but would have to release the little guy and would probably feel bad for putting a hole in its mouth. So, even though I like to do stuff I am still definitely a girl!... and I love my shoes. lolOn the other hand, I do not have an appreciation for fine wine but if you do that's ok. I do appreciate good food and dessert.Vacations are great, whether in the mountains or at a beach. If I go somewhere, I want to explore and learn about where I am. Some people are really in to cruises, and I am sure they are great, but I would rather go to a place and see what there is to see, learn what there is to learn, and eat what there is to eat! This mixed in with some relaxation and laziness... I'm not).I am pretty down to earth and what you see is what you get. I guess the typical meeting for coffee is a good start but maybe going for a walk or some sort of simple activity where we can get to know each other a little.
