I have an idea that's stuck in my head. I see a small rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere, couple horses, shop with a couple big trucks, gardens of herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, living off the land. Maybe some cattle, chickens, yada yada... Id like to get into herbal medicine and tanning hides, basically anything that has to do with wilderness living. A quiet country setting where I can spend the rest of my life. That type of lifestyle is hard work. If I had it my way, I would be able to live without working in town by finding other ways to make money. I want a simple life, so very little money should be necessary anyway. Over the last 5 years I set myself loose and packed my truck with nothing but my camping gear and left everything behind, looking for an area I'd like to settle down in. One of those times I camped in a tent for four months, alone with my cat and dog.I want at least 40 acres, with a river, streams or lake front. Accessible by truck. Either I have a cabin built or I pay to have one built later on. I don't know much about all this stuff. It would be the other half of my dream to find a man with the same dreams and build it together. You lead, I follow. Im going to do it with or without a man though, it will just be a little more difficult trying to figure it all by myself. All Im saying is that if you are interested in something more serious, that this is who I am, and if you don't have the same lifestyle in mind, then it will never work. I get a lot of responses from guys that prefer the city lifestyle, wear their hats on sideways and listen to hip hop...lol Just trying to narrow down some results here guys. Hello! I just finished my masters so I have been hiding in my apartment since I moved until about a month ago. There's so much to do and see in the area but need a partner in crime to get me out and show it to me! I love my job right now and therefore have no intention to switch my job with my new degree at this time. Besides, I don't even know what I want to be "when I grow up." : ) For now, I'm just interested in seeing where love and life takes me. Having a family is very important to me. I want to be the household where everyone wants to come over and watch the game and my future kids want all their friends to hang out there too. When you earn my trust, I won't ever question when you call and say, "hey, if we don't have plans, I'm going to head out for a drink with the guys." It's important you have your own life and I want to have one of my own as well. I'm a strong person and can care too much and I need someone who isn't afraid to tell me when to relax. Being in a relationship to me means I will always try to make you happy and expect that you will do the same. Nothing is ever perfect, but if you're willing to work at it and communicate, I'm all in. I don't believe that spending money on someone shows that you care for them or makes things better. If you know I'm having a bad day and show up with my favorite candy bar, that's more thoughtful than going out and spending too much money on something else. Watching a cheesy movie with me even though you don't want to means more than an expensive date. That's not to say that a nice treat isn't appreciated every once in a while, but life is about much more than money. It's about sharing, smiling, playing, swinging on the swings, and picnics. And when I know you are having a bad day, expect your favorite 6 pack in the fridge, your favorite meal on the stove, and your game on the TV when you get home. Surprise me! Tell me how to dress, what to bring, put me in the car, then drive me to wherever we are going. I'm very decisive about a lot of things, but I love a guy to take control.

So, I've dated the total opposite of me and then I've dated those with similar interests.
