Hello! My friends all told me to come down here, and I only wish I had done it sooner. I love it here.I work in retail for time being, but I have been back in school for almost a year now. I'm studying Business Administration with a Human Resources Minor. The beauty of Business Administration is you can go a lot of ways with it. The curse of Business Administration is you can go a lot of ways with it. At this point, I'm ready to go anywhere just so I can get out of retail. I'm very determined to get a real job and live my life how I want to, I just haven't sorted out all the details yet. School is only one component of what's been my "Getting my life together" tour since I've moved down here. I've also committed myself to getting myself healthy- something I've been very successful at. I've lost about ***pounds, weighing in now at 229. (You can do the math. :P) I did it with what they always say you should do: diet and exercise. Eating healthy and exercising are two things that are important to me (though you have to have fun every now and then).Speaking of things that interest me, history also interests me. I love the walking and scenery that you get to see when you go these places. Other things that interest me are movies, I tend to go out on outings with meetup groups, and movie outings are one of the outings I more frequently attend. I also like sports, I visited Redskins training camp this year and have been to some Flying Squirrels games. I also definitely trend geeky in things, gaming in general be it tabletop or video games appeal to me, as does reading and writing. Music wise, I listen to lots of things. I love musicals and harmony, so you'll find choir music on my ipod but then you'll also find metalish bands like Disturbed and Evanescence and you find some lighter stuff like the Cranberries and Barenaked Ladies, plus even some old school rap- Dr, Dre, Eminem and Snoop Dogg (though I think he goes by Snoop Lion these days). I'm not particularly a music snob, if it sounds good to me I like it. For a first date, I like to keep things simple. I'm definitely the type that doesn't rush into things and likes to get to know people first. I like Carytown, so maybe say a lunch at one of the many fine restaurants around there, then maybe a movie at the Byrd or just a walk and talk as we look at the cool shops.

Well, I guess it's time for an update. Since I have been on here I have noticed a trend of women not wanting fake people and comments that guys don't look like their picture, he's not really that tall and don't send me your baby momma drama. No body needs that stuff, and really it should be obvious but this is the FREE dating site so we have to expect all walks of life to peruse its pages. Tonight though, let me just say that it's not just the guys, some of these woman need to stop. Don't perpetrate, just be you and don't try to sell a package that is nicely wrapped but improperly put together. I'm not here to bullsh*t anyone and shouldn't we naturally extend that courtesy? so, with that I hope to hear from you... I just want to go and have a laid back time. No pressure and no awkwardness.
