I own my house in Capital Hill but spend a lot of time in temporary homes abroad for work. Looking for someone to keep me grounded in DC.I love the beach and sand as much as the mountains and snow, pretty much anything outdoors. In the summer you can find me by the ocean and in the winter, I’m likely to be found on the slopes with my snowboard. I like to run marathons, ***marathons and adventure races. I ran my 10th ***in May. I am certified indoor cycling and group fitness ***’m a Country girl (music and all) at heart who loves getting down and dirty but can also live it up in the city. I enjoy most music as long as it has a good beat and/or good lyrics. I am a CAPS and Skins Fan (not a season ticket holder but have my connections), so love me or hate me! I'm also becoming a huge Nationals fan. I have 3 dogs, which are all rescues from all over the world (newest one all the way from Korea) and would love someone to help me take them on long walks or hikes through some of our national parks. I love comedy clubs, live music, dancing and am willing to try anything at least once (well almost anything). However, I am just as happy curled up with a good book or a good man watching a good movie.Looking for someone who can keep up with me and even provide me with a challenge every now and again. I will be open and honest with you as long as you are with me. I prefer talking over texting and actions to words. An ideal first date would be maybe a museum or exhibit to explore together, i.e. find the latest groupon for a local event and go!
