I own my house in Capital Hill but spend a lot of time in temporary homes abroad for work. I have 3 dogs, which are all rescues from all over the world (newest one all the way from Korea) and would love someone to help me take them on long walks or hikes through some of our national parks. I love comedy clubs, live music, dancing and am willing to try anything at least once (well almost anything). However, I am just as happy curled up with a good book or a good man watching a good movie.Looking for someone who can keep up with me and even provide me with a challenge every now and again. I will be open and honest with you as long as you are with me. I prefer talking over texting and actions to words. An ideal first date would be maybe a museum or exhibit to explore together, i.e. find the latest groupon for a local event and go! Well.....well.....well, where to begin on this oh so wonderful aquatic website that has kept me warm on those cold, blustery, lonely evenings in between relationships. Fact: I try not to take the pitfalls of life too seriously as they are all lessons we must grudgingly learn. Fact: I feel like laughter is truly the best medicine for pretty much any and all ailments. sidenote- If you cannot learn to laugh at yourself or your situation then you will almost certainly go insane by the age of ***the age at which most mid-life crisis occur- new sports car anyone?).Fact: Recently, I recieved my teaching certificate and have been working in education for the past two years.*% off ever since!...but, if you find me at least a little hilarious or at least cracked a smile while reading this then you may be my type...if you read this and you were thinking "what in the hell is this chick saying?" then you are NOT my type at which case you probably wouldn't *** unless you were superficial and only cared about appearances well....I digress- you get the point!!! As much as I love them, no movies on a first date. As hard as I've tried, I've never been able to telepathically get to know someone by sitting next to them quietly in the dark for two hours (although if you cry during a movie and I don't shed a tear, I may question your high amount of sensitivity and this could result in a turn off).
