I just finished nursing school and I am in a nurse residency program in the local hospitals oncology and the Acute Care unit at the local hospital. I'm right in the middle of a career change from teaching to animal advocacy and I've also started work on another degree. I've got a great sense of humor and my feet firmly planted in the ground. I say what's on my mind, think kindness is far too underrated, and love learning about and trying new things.I can't say that there's just one important quality that I'm looking for. It's more like I'll know it when I see it. At a bare minimum he should be honest and kind. He should know how to listen, laugh, and love. Humor is a must - all types appreciated - ranging from dry wit to low brow. Family should be important to him. He should like kids and pets (really just my dog). I'm going to be shallow & say it... All in all I just want someone who will be my partner in life to share and enjoy all of the good simple pleasures that come from sharing your life with someone else. Ok, I Know the above description is on the generic side so here are a few random facts about me:1) I don’t have a favorite color – I like them all.2) I’m terrified of heights but I love flying (the smaller the plane the better).3) I really don’t like talking on the phone.
