I'm right in the middle of a career change from teaching to animal advocacy and I've also started work on another degree. I've got a great sense of humor and my feet firmly planted in the ground. I say what's on my mind, think kindness is far too underrated, and love learning about and trying new things.I can't say that there's just one important quality that I'm looking for. It's more like I'll know it when I see it. At a bare minimum he should be honest and kind. He should know how to listen, laugh, and love. Humor is a must - all types appreciated - ranging from dry wit to low brow. Family should be important to him. He should like kids and pets (really just my dog). I'm going to be shallow & say it... All in all I just want someone who will be my partner in life to share and enjoy all of the good simple pleasures that come from sharing your life with someone else. Ok, I Know the above description is on the generic side so here are a few random facts about me:1) I don’t have a favorite color – I like them all.2) I’m terrified of heights but I love flying (the smaller the plane the better).3) I really don’t like talking on the phone. If I can’t talk in person I prefer e-mail, IM, or text.4) I choose wine by the cute-ness level of the label on the bottle.5) I’m not a fan of the gym I'd much rather be doing something outside!6) I think roller coasters are so fun!7) Pizza is my favorite food.8) I will someday be able to say I’ve been on all the continents9) I’ve broken both feet and fractured my skull (not all at the same time).***Coke –***I am truly horrible at math, spelling, and have no sense of direction. Thank-you calculators, spell check, & GPS!***I aspire to one day write a best selling children’s picture book. ***I like it really cold in my room when I sleep.***I love it when people tell me I look like my mother.***Breakfast for dinner is awesome (I make great banana pancakes).***The last 5 songs played on my itunes are: I’ ***I think clowns are creepy. I don't think the 1st date needs to be fancy. What's important is that it is somewhere we can carry on a conversation.

Seems more natural to meet individuals in everyday life rather at work, school, the gym, or through friends etc... then what you see is what you get!! The whole idea brings on a lot of pressure and is less natural because people post pictures that aren't themselves, that are very old, add to it some post facts that aren't accurate, some say they are sincere about meeting someone for friends and to drop a line and they will respond, however when you do, they don't!! I'd say if you post these things about yourself then be about it and follow through!I think at this point, I would like to network and meet people with similar careers and education, who are goal oriented and driven. Maybe someone for friends, who shares the same interests, hobbies and wants to do activities together. A travel partner?? For now at least, then that eliminates the pressure!!Ok, I'm going to go there, please know the difference between women/woman and there/their/they're!
