I love to try new things and thrive when I’m challenged both intellectually and physically. I work hard and play hard and would like to meet someone to share the adventure.I’ve traveled to various countries and like to explore new places as often as I can. I like to keep things balanced, and tend to enjoy a wide spectrum of activities. Some outdoor activities include: taking my dog for walk/hike etc, golfing, hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, etc. I am willing to try any sport as long as it is NOT completely life threatening. The other end of the spectrum involves attending the theatre and other performances, art galleries, museums...I'm a bit of a foodie and love to go to the wine country and discover new places. Cooking is my passion, but I’m not so passionate about doing the dishes... So before I ramble on too much, here are just a few key words that best describe me: intelligent, sassy, honest, compassionate, direct, timely, communicative, adventurous, always smiling. OK, your turn: You’re not perfect but you are someone who is grounded. Your honesty and communication help you stay focused on what you want out of life. You are positive, assertive and clever. I lived in upstate NY for 10 years and I have spent the last four years enjoying what I have referred to as a "midlife crisis walk about." When my children left home I found myself sitting in an empty nest wondering why I was working and shoveling snow.??? I decided to go back to school on line and go where life took me. There are two recent developments that have changed things for me a bit. My 15 yr old son moved back from his Dad's to live with me full time and my daughter who got married last year, just had my first granddaughter. She is beautiful and precious. So there is lots of life and activity in my world, but it is all good! I have been in Ga for a year now. I have enjoyed the oportunity to go back to school and further my education. I guess I am lucky that opportunities always seem to present themselves. I like to see new places and experience new things. I appreciate the finer things in life but don't need much to keep me happy; I keep it simple. I love to Camp (by the water) nothing better than a nice night by a campfire with friends sharing laughs and****ails. I would really like to meet someone who has like interests and knows how to smile, laugh and live a little. I like to do anything outdoors, as long as the sun is shining; being on a boat or in the water is always a plus! I have a strong personality and am very outgoing. I am not compatible with insecure controlling men. I like strangers, and am not afraid to strike up a conversation. Would like to meet someone who compliments me and I compliment them.
