It's more important for me to participate in physical activities than to watch others participate, but being a selective spectator can be fun too. I'm not a fan of country music, but prefer alot of rock, jazz, and folk. I respect others' tastes in music and entertainment, but the best match for me will not be an avid country music lover. It's more than just the music, a small amount of which I actually DO like ***it's more the culture that doesn't match me. I seek someone who values honesty, trust, mutual respect, dignity, romance, adventure, and travel, and is not a gameplayer, drug-taker, alcoholic, or insomniac. I'm not interested in being a serial dater or a confirmed bachelor, and am seeking a truly fun, fulfilling, lasting relationship. I'm not perfect, and don't expect you to be .... I will value our common interests, which will be many, and I will appreciate our differences also. Some common traits I hope we will share are liberal values, physical attraction, creativity in keeping each other smiling and happy, a desire to keep physically fit, and compatible senses of humor. I am self motivated and can entertain myself quite easily by learning and doing. I am definitely looking for someone on the same plane of thought and action. I remain well grounded in my values and reflect this in my life and work. I am strong in character but see no need to parade about like a peacock. Honesty, integrity & possessing a strong moral compass are important traits I value. I think I have an interesting sense of humor and feel quite at ease in making fun of myself and remind myself to not take everything so seriously. Damn, I blush so easily! I'm educated, love my job, and have found an inner peace with whom I am in this life. I am restless for change in that I hope to find my equal or better to share in whats still to come. I am selfish, but kind, value friendship above all, and have no time for BS. Still, I have many lessons to learn, and am learning the value in patience. I cannot believe how grounded in the past I can be, and yet strive to change and evolve. I enjoy many hobbies, and things involving the outdoors and physical activity top my list. I have done a good job of cycling to work (40min each way) for the better part of the year. We obviously have not met within our respective social circles. I can't seem to find you at the grocers, library, numerous coffee shops, the grouse grind or on the streets or seawall on a bicycle. NOT even in a bar! I thought this may be the best way to be seen by a larger audience. I would think I would know you the moment we meet. Only time will tell, but time doesn't wait... and another year has gone by. It's a good thing I use up all my time nowadays being very busy and constructive. Open to anything where we can walk & talk.
