I'm open to meeting a new friend with the potential for much more than friendship. I believe that the only way to get to know someone is slowly, and I enjoy the anticipation and delayed gratification that comes with that. My past travels are treasured memories and include stories to share with you, and I look forward to future travels/new memories/stories with you. I'm active, have a good professional career, am enjoying being a first-time homeowner for 15 years now, and enjoy many interests and activities including those related to traveling, adventure, arts, personal sports, and home projects. I love to be in the sun and am prone to occasional adventures. I've traveled quite a bit already, and want to do lots more, by planes, trains, automobiles, foot, and bicycle. I'm looking forward to starting a new friendship with you if you take good care of yourself, are truly emotionally available (i.e. "recovered"), have few or no children at home, don't smoke, and like a wide variety of musical, travel-related, domestic, and physical activities and interests. I have no children and do not wish to have any of my own, but I do have a healthy appreciation for others' children. You are liberal in your values and interests, and will not be bothered or offended by others' freedoms of choice, within reason. I'm not conservative and neither are you. I don't follow any sports teams religiously and am not a lazy, sofa-bound arm-;Pahk" in the ***'s. It's more important for me to participate in physical activities than to watch others participate, but being a selective spectator can be fun too. I'm not a fan of country music, but prefer alot of rock, jazz, and folk. I respect others' tastes in music and entertainment, but the best match for me will not be an avid country music lover. It's more than just the music, a small amount of which I actually DO like ***it's more the culture that doesn't match me. I seek someone who values honesty, trust, mutual respect, dignity, romance, adventure, and travel, and is not a gameplayer, drug-taker, alcoholic, or insomniac. I'm not interested in being a serial dater or a confirmed bachelor, and am seeking a truly fun, fulfilling, lasting relationship. I'm not perfect, and don't expect you to be .... I will value our common interests, which will be many, and I will appreciate our differences also. Some common traits I hope we will share are liberal values, physical attraction, creativity in keeping each other smiling and happy, a desire to keep physically fit, and compatible senses of humor.
