Last year I did something no one, including myself, ever thought I would do. I trained for and completed four half marathons. It was the hardest thing I've ever done, but so rewarding. I'm a die hard college football fan (Go Hawkeyes!) and I enjoy watching baseball, basketball and football as well. Sometimes even golf. But college sports are where my heart is. I bleed black and gold.I love to watch movies, listen to music and go to concerts and plays. My tastes span a variety of genres. I finally saw Book of Mormon and it was fantastic!! I will give this a go and see if it works for me. :) I'm up for just about anything that would allow us to get to know each other better. I like to be outdoors, spending time with my kids and raising them to be responsible adults. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I like all kinds of music except heavy metal,, that just gives me a headache..lol I want to obtain my BA in accounting one day but one degree for right now will be ok. I have a career that gives me a sense of purpose and direction and a beautiful home that I have worked very hard to attain. During this past few years, I've experienced many "firsts" in my life. I performed on stage for the first time ever; became a first time home owner; discovered that I love dogs especially Golden Retrievers (although I don't have pets of my own); have gone camping; tried playing golf and even disc golf once.
