NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. It's been said I'm more of a 'guy's kinda gal' .. I don't consider myself a ultra feminine/girlie-girl... I'm not prissy.. I dont' care about the latest fashion trends but more into my own style and comfort :) However, I do like dressing upon occasion.. This being said..I'm not your hunting or fishing pal either. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.

Who am I and what am I seeking? Hmmmm...I'm an energetic optimist that's outgoing and friendly! I fit in with most circles, can find adventure in the mundane, typically have a smile on my face, laugh a lot, and have a passion for the arts. But, I have my must see TV as well: True Blood, Homeland, Parenthood, Glee, and Downton Abbey. I love most movies! My all time favorite = Princess Bride!I've decided that I'm ready to look for that special someone. I've met a few great people on this site, but really want that connection. That person you can't wait to tell about your day (or night). I crave cuddles, kisses and a bit of romance in my life.... A true partnership.That said, I have a complicated life! I have three amazing kiddos that I adopted from foster care. They have health issues and it's not always easy for me to find free time, so I find myself being incredibly picky when it comes to men. I have decided to spread my wings a little and pursue one of my dreams which involves working with wildlife and to do so will be heading back to school for a degree in wildlife management. My children are my animals (4 dogs, 4 cats and a horse) and they are a large part of my happiness in life. And yes...two of my pups do sleep in my bed. I am a lover of music (all but head banging heavy metal and hard rap), enjoy singing and think I might still be able to play the piano if I could get my hands on one.As you can tell from above I enjoy anything that is outdoors for the most part. Camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, boating, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, skiing, canoeing, softball, horseshoes, cycling, motorcycles, tennis, skeet shooting, snow skiing and the list goes on and on. I am an avid dart player (steel-tip) and have played competitively for the past 15 years. Enough of the specifics now down to the nitty gritty....Most would describe me as loyal, optimistic, loving, big heart, empathetic, hardworking, goofy, silly, sometimes hardheaded, and determined. I enjoy making people smile and laugh and helping others to succeed when they are willing. At the same time I enjoy being around people who are positive and not constantly drowning themselves purposely in the drudgeries of life. I have traveled that road and have learned that focusing on the negative only takes you further down. I have an aversion to spending too much time with those who are judgemental and criticising of others. Learning from experience when you fall in that trap of judging others one cannot grow within...and it becomes a crutch and suffocator of happiness in life. I prefer to be with real people. I know that sounds funny...all people are real..right? People who are true to themselves. Those are the ones who will be true to you. Again...learned from experience. Enough for now.
