Laid-back, down-to-earth, classy lady who knows when and how to kick back. An excellent, loyal friend and drinkin' buddy lol. Love city stuff too, live bands and the corner pub with the regulars. I'm into hockey (GO JETS!!), and enjoy spectating at nearly any sporting event. I don't play anything formally or recreationally, but am reasonably coordinated…And Winter. Yeah that thing. NOT my favorite time of the year lol, but I do what it takes to keep warm to make the most of it. Except when snowmobiling's involved - BRING IT!!!;) Also I'm not a great skater, so this year I plan to change that.I need you to be direct and honest with me, I will offer the same. I have baggage, we all do. I guard my kids, my independence, our privacy. I have a lot of friends, and yes that includes a lot of guys too lol..so possessiveness and jealousy don't fly with me. To quote another user's profile words that I fully agree with: "I'm not too concerned with what your body looks like as much as I am about your personality... and you should have a lot of personality to keep my interest." I'll admit though that I have a thing for blue collar guys and country boys, calloused hands. And Lord knows I have my quirks.That's it for now until we meet. I am an easy going person - I pretty much get along with everyone and for the most part accept people for who they are. We all have different personalities, goals, outlooks on life, where we want to be and who we desire to be with. I do have to say I tend to stay away from people who are negative, see the glass as half empty *** half full, are mean to others, are totally self absorbed and don't seem to care about others (including me) or seem to have way too much drama. I look at it this way - there's not enough time in the day to deal with all of that - wouldn't you agree? A couple of things that are DEAL BREAKERS for me... if you have an obsessive/abusive personality please don't bother. I WILL NOT put up with anyone doing illegal drugs - PERIOD. So... if you have any of these issues - please don't bother. I can seem a little quiet/shy at first until I get to know and warm up to you a little bit. Don't worry about me though on a first date - I promise I can and will talk. I am not a big talker about myself in larger crowds as I don't feel I need to be the center of attention. Don't get me wrong on this - I'm not an introvert - I do enjoy the company of others and like to have fun with others.I have 2 sons ***& ***who are awesome kids. They are respectful and I enjoy spending time with them and being their Mom. My boys are with me every other week although I do see them during their week with their Dad if there is something going on or they just need me. Their Dad and I do get along - there is not a lot of drama in that area - wouldn't want it any other way. I think it's important for him and I to get along - it's healthier for our sons to show we can get along and we are better parents because of it.I've worked for the same company for over 26 years - as you might be able to gather I'm a dedicated & hard worker. For years I've done volunteer work for a non-profit through my job and am on the Board of Directors for this non-profit organization. This has been an awesome experience as I now am getting to see how much work is involved in organizing various efforts in giving back to our community.Most of my family lives here in Vegas and over the years I've lived here have made many close friends. I enjoy spending time with family & friends - whether it's hanging out, going to the movies, celebrating birthdays, going bowling, going on vacation, going shopping etc... my family and friends are a very important part of my life. I enjoy activities that include the sun & water. If I could live on a tropical island minus the humidity (makes for bad hair days) I would be loving life... ;) I like watching good movies (theater or home), bowling, reading (when I find the time), shopping, decorating my house, running/staying in shape, spending quality time with family/friends, going out or just staying home - the list goes on and on...I'm kind of a "picky" eater though - I just can't help it... I actually do like salad - and not because I am trying to watch my girlish figure ;) I will make an attempt to try something new, but may only try a bite if you are willing to share - lol. People often think I don't eat enough - I enjoy food, but when I'm full - I'm done...I'm looking for a man to spend time with and to enjoy the little and big things in life. Eventually I would like to have a man to spend time with in all aspects of my life and his. I tend to be more attracted to a "man's man", but one who respects a woman and treats her like a lady. I'm very independent and financially stable and expect the same in him. Money isn't everything, but I want to spend time with someone on at least the same level as me - not someone who is "still" trying to make something out of their life. I know life happens and sometimes we are faced with situations beyond our control, but I am really looking for someone who is for the most part happy - is that you???I am most attracted to taller men who have dark hair.
