The dreaded profile description! Well, I guess I’m like most people my age that are out there trying to date and find that the Internet is almost the only answer to find single people. I feel that I really have a great life and a positive outlook. I have a great job, family, and friends. I couldn't be more blessed in those areas. I’ve never been married and dont have any kids, but would love to have all of that with the right person. I have a 3 year old beagle/boxer who is my little buddy. I enjoy going hiking, watching movies, and watching most sports. I’m more of a jeans and tee-shirt kind of girl, but I do like to get dressed up when I go out. The older I get, the more I’m content staying at home, cooking dinner, and watching a movie with the one I’m with. But, I still do like to get out sometimes, grab a beer or glass a wine and have a good time talking and laughing with that person too. Want to know anything else, just ask! Grab a drink, go for a hike, something casual, and get to know each other.

I'm hardworking, have a a stable job that I've been at for almost 22 years. I own my home thanks to that job and love doing projects around the house from landscaping to redecorating. I mow my own grass and have been known to change a light bulb or two. I love to have a good time and laugh. I make the best out of any situation and try to make everything I do fun. I'm a little quite at first, taking in surroundings and the people, but then watch out. I enjoy good conversation, love to debate, need things to be logical and believe it or not I can admit when I'm wrong. I love trying anything (well almost anything) at least once. My latest adventure is looking to take on a 5k this Oct. I prefer listening to music over t.v, but have been know to sit back, be lazy and watch some t.v or a movie.I'm hoping to find someone who loves to laugh, doesn't take life or himself to seriously, and can have a good time in any situation. He takes care of his responsibilities and is willing to lend a hand when the need arises. Looking forward to making new friends and finding someone special to be in my life. Drop me a line and lets see what happens :) We can determine that, if and when we get there.

I've dated some really nice guys over the past year, but it just wasn't a match. I cannot say a bad word about any of them, I just didn't want to be with them. I learned a lot about what I want out of a guy.Chivalry and other gentlemanly acts- I am more than capable of opening my own door, but I really like it when you do it. I like it when men order for me, especially if they have paid attention enough to be able to order what I like. Finding Me Funny: I read that men don't like women that make them laugh, but I really enjoy making people laugh. Especially if it makes them wet their pants from laughing so hard. Conversationalists and Readers: I like words, though I am awful at crossword puzzles. I listen to audiobooks rather than music and read the news regularly. I like to read and I like being able to talk and share. Moderation in Most things: Fundamentalism in most forms is a turn off, unless it is a hatred of pickles. I'm with you on that one, but I do understand there are people that like them and I only control their existence inside my home. Support- Not financial support. I'm talking about cheerleading and ass kicking. I'm looking for someone wanting to step out of their comfort zone from time to time, able to keep his own identity and interested in finding someone to share experiences with. I like the first date to be something like a walk in a park or museum where we can talk, move and have something to discuss. I prefer eating at small local establishments over chain restaurants. I like the flexibility of ending or extending a date.
